right forget the Whinoes V Wildcats the biggest game this weekend is Stanningley V Stanley 10s on Saturday morning .

Stanley must have about 1/3 of the squad missing but will be keen on putting the record straight.

that will be a very interesting game,i was impressed by both you and stanningley and i can see this been won and lost in the middle of the field.

we "cas panthers" travel to eastmoor again and having had a couple of weeks rest we are looking forward to what should be another cracking game.

on sunday we travel over to wigan for their festival ive not got a clue who we play but with the sun out and a coach laid on their should be plenty of time for refreshments. icon_smile.gif

cas panthers were made to pay dear for the third game running with poor goal kicking and a flat attack has we went down 12-8 at eastmoor.

after a very poor first half from the panthers, eastmoor scored twice against the run of play and despite having the majority of the ball camped on the eastmoor line we never looked like scoring, far better effort in the second half playing up hill and dominating the game we finally found some holes to score a couple of tries but two missed goals meant we didnt get what we deserved.

unlucky mate , Stanley were comprehensively beaten at stunningly 36-16 i think(lost count) , the searing heat was partly to blame as some 2nd rowers were having to double up as props and run the ball in straight after a big tacking stints . however it was also one of those games where all the hard work done in training went to the wall. just short of 1/3 of the squad was missing but then again it was equal numbers on the field of play and the team must start to listen for messages from the touch line .

me thinks i need to learn my lad to sledge a little as it seemed to get to him a lot icon_lol.gif

he also as his complementary stud tattoo on his chest icon_eek.gif i swear he dont go looking for trouble but seems to walk into it eyes shut.

suprised at that score tbh,i suppose when you lose a few plaers it can affect you quite a bit.

also been told today that aid flemming has left eastmoor under a bit of a cloud, was hoping to have a word with him regards next years fixtures.

imo their should be 3 groups of 10 next year with each team playing home and away against all their teams in the group, far better than this playing teams 4-5 times a year has they are doing at the minute.

Just an update from Crigg U10's now i'm back from my jollies .
Beat Eastmoor 30-26 at home (was that result published in the express like the rest ? eusa_whistle.gif icon_wink.gif )- apparently their first defeat since xmas . Sounds like they took it in the usual manor - icon_evil.gif
Next up Whinmoor away - who we beat - but can't remember the score eusa_eh.gif . Lot of players out for both teams because of the hols so not the best game by the sounds .
Supposed to be away AGAIN at Heworth this Saturday but Adi Fleming realised that this was a mistake and they should (finally) be coming over to us , we got in touch with sergeant slaughter......i'll let you guess the rest !
Another fixture is being arranged as i'm typing this !!! a010.gif
