I think we all knew that. The conversation is more concerned with how crap he was.

He wasn't good for us but his departure hurt Bradford. Didn't they go down the year he signed?

If we hadn't spent the money on him who knows what could have happened.

I wouldn't go as far as saying he was crap he certainly has a bit of flair in his game he just wasn't big enough and consistent enough to maintain it when he did have a good game,
his level is in the championship though for me good luck to him, after his hissy fit here shows he thinks he's better than he is

Am I imagining it or Did Nick Scruton do the same thing, but to a lesser degree, ie underperform against Bradford after he joined us.

I didn't get that at all.
Scruton played his best in my opinion.
He did say he was sad to leave Bradford under the circumstances he did., which raised a few eyebrows but I never felt he under performed

And actually turned out to be a good long term signing.

Sorry snowie but we’ll have to beg to differ on this one. For me he was crap for us, never got close to being a match winner, didn’t lead the team and at best just went through the motions. However worst of all was the Bradford game, had he played like a demon in every other game, that one betrayal would have negated everything.

Get a life mate, it’s a forum to discuss Rugby and I posted something I was told and was interested to see if there was truth in it i.e if others had heard the same thing. One of the first things I said was I thought he’d be better suited back at Bradford.

Long term maybe PT but as I recall in his early game against Bradford he "Could have done better"ll we say.

Probably not sammut because of his history with us - but someone like him is who we are looking for I reackon in our price range and good utility I fill a quota spot
