Coote, Makinson, Percival, Naiqama, Fages, Lomax, Walmsley, Roby, Thompson, Taia, Peyroux. Paulo was out of position too. Only Grace, LMS, Lees, Knowles, Amor and Paulo are first teamers today

Am I right in thinking that in the early days of Ferguson's tenure at Man Ure, weren't they severely punished for deliberately fielding a much weakened side prior to an important cup game? I suppose Saints current status could be compared to theirs.

If Wakefield were ten points clear in the league, and in a CC semi final, would you suggest that Chester picks his team according to what's fair on everyone else?

Don’t blame Saints, blame the RFL.
The fact a team can make so many changes without facing any sanctions is a joke and casts a massive shadow on the integrity of the competition.
The only thing I’d question Saints about is why in 23 games, they’ve chosen to field severely weakened teams against the same opponent twice?

I make it 11 SL players who’ve played regularly or have masses of SL experience. No where near as drastic as some are making out! |
