| Good luck to him, he's a decent bloke who doesn't owe us anything did well in both his stints with us. Coaching Wales in the World Cup may have wetted his appetite as a head coach again. He'll put structures in place for Bradford to walk that league because if they don't that'd be the end of them and RL in this country is too smaller sport to lose a decent sized club.

| Good luck to JK, he goes with all my thanks for a sterling job here at Wakefield. I will always have a soft spot for him, the guy is an absolute legend for what he did and he'll surely feel the challenge of making Bradford great again was too good an opportunity to miss. I wish him well.

I've just been reading that Lee Gilmour is only a part-time Assistant at the Club, which I didn't know tbh. Apart from the obvious of losing a man like JK as part of the staff, I guess that's why we'll be after getting another Coach in. To take some of the weight off CC. It'll definitely be interesting who the Club gets to comes in.

| Kear wasn't an assistant coach.
We need someone as an administrator.

| what about JD? he has been relegated from his broncos standing now they signed Kevin Walters? I think he would be looking for change to as he though he was going to take over from Bennett

I don't think we do tbh. Kear is a bit of a one off where we are concerned. He was bought in primarily to assist CC making the transition from rookie to experienced coach whilst I assume helping MC make RL related decisions.
Another year would have been nice but the role imho was always finite. Eventually both CC and MC would need Kears advise less and less.
Whatever the case I imagine both but especially CC have improved dramatically in their decision making.
I'd rather the money go on a player or say a top rate conditioner or sprint coach or somthing like that.
Also because we are two divisions up from the Bulls I see no reason why CC can't ring Kear for the occasional bit of advice. There is no conflict of interest at present and a good relationship would be beneficial to both clubs imho.

From what the Club say they seem to be after an assistant, also it keeps flashing up at the bottom of my page in News we're after one. .
I also wouldn't personally put Kear down as an administrator if that's what you're saying. Vasty probably described what is his role was the best, someone to help both CC as an up and coming Coach and MC on the RL side of the business.
I personally think it's a job that JK was made for, especially with his experience of this Club and RL in general at all levels. It would also be very hard to get someone like for like imo. Tbh I'll leave it to Club to know who they need because from the outside looking in, I haven't a clue.

I think JD would fancy a Head Coaching role in SL, especially to entice him to come back over. An Assistant just doesn't have the same pull.

| I know it seems to have gone out of favour but how about a player / asst coach. It could well interest Finn, Kirmond .

It wouldn't give us any extra or new input though would it?

| Probably not Wollo but it would give added interest to players who have served the club well and are coming to the end of a playing career.
With C Cs young age I don't think asst coach will appeal to many older coaches and to appoint a younger coach from outside the club when we have players who could fit the bill just doesn't fit for me
