Agree and as per my post above, we shud not have allowed this to happen

| Quote: TRB "Kyle Amor decision delayed until end of season. He will choose between @leedsrhinos + @WTWildcatsRL. Full story in today's #YEPleeds
from Peter Smith!
Will be interesting to know how we can plan our squad for next year under such circumstances especially when the prop department appears to be one of the priority recruitment areas.
Also which end of season , last round of SL or when Leeds have finished their playoff run ?
Or could it be that Leeds have already decided on letting him leave and the club are just keeping it up their sleeve for a bit of positive PR in the near future

This reminds me of the Gareth Ellis saga, when he wanted to get to the end of the season and then signed.......................for Leeds

Would have thought the season ticket offer would be the right time to add positive PR.
So we can't plan for next season

| Don't understand this deal, never have and still don't.
If the decision is solely down to Kyle and he is waiting until the end of the season I'd give him say till Monday and if he hasn't made up his mind I'd make it up for him and tell him he can go back to Leeds. We need to know where we stand so we can recruit for next season, particularly when we still are light in the prop department.
If as I suspect it's down to Leeds who are delaying untill the end of the season then we are stuck but again it's not helping us and they are in the driving seat.
I'd love Kyle to stay with us but we should not allow anyone to mess us around.
I hope someone comes along an explains the deal so I can at last understand it but I'm not hopeful.

perhaps this is being held back for a couple of weeks after the initial surge for tickets starts to ebb away? like many others i find this frustrating, if he's staying then that's fantastic.
if it's kyle's choice, i'd want him to make it now and commit - either way.

| I suspect that he has already chosen. As some posters point out, we can't make plans for next season with regard to recruitment etc but neither can Leeds (not that I'm bothered about that). Leeds were in the driving seat in that they had the choice and could have made their planning more 'concrete', but now they are up in the air perhaps for a couple of months. Don't think so, I think Hetherington already knows.

| Sadly i've a feeling Kyle will be a Rhinos player next year, hence the delay. If he was staying with the club he is currently at why not just announce it? More likely keep it under wraps until the end of the season then move on quietly. Hope i'm wrong though and they've genuinely only just passed it back to Kyle to decide.
FWIW I think moving back to Leeds at this stage would be a mistake. They already have six props contracted for next year (Peacock, Leuluai, Bailey, Griffin, Moore, Kirke & Singleton) and have been linked with Kopczak should the Bulls finally go pop. At 25 he's still a young for a prop and I feel for his development he should be playing week in week out and I don't think he'll get that luxury at Leeds.

| Whatever you say about Leeds I think they are a well run club and they usually have a small turnover in players. Looking at it from their side I find it hard to believe that they won't already have their squad organised for next season.
So from a Leeds perspective I can't believe they will not have decided by now and if Kyle was off back there we would have been informed.
This is no more than a bit of trickery from our side and Kyle is already staying.

| Apparently all three parties are comfortable with Kyle making the decision end of season.
What about the large fourth party ie. the fans.
I for one would like to know now the decision.
People should always remember their is no game without the fans.

Agree, all very strange, it's not as if most fans weren't prepared for him going back and mostly expected it. As always it seems this is going to put us in a bit of a difficult place and like you say on the back foot.

I tend to agree with this.
If Leeds felt the need to appease their fans by recalling Amor now was the time. However if he isn't in their plans then letting him go right now would not please certain quarters. However should Leeds retain the title and have a top signing lined up then letting Amor go at the end of the season would go unnoticed by most.
Lets be realistic, good though Amor is at Leeds he'd still be a young fringe player. No way would he be guaranteed a start. I also think he'd struggle with the expectation. Hetherington will know this and will know that Amor is probably still a few years short of the maturity needed at a huge club like Leeds. He is not what Leeds need right now as they have too many youngsters in the first team already and for a prop Amor is young.
Let him stay with us another two years then attempt to pick him up as an OOC player when he will be starting to peak. I would.
Could work out for us fingers crossed.

| You'd have thought Amor would know right now which team he'd rather be at for the next couple of years and as far as messing with plans for next year, I think he'll make his decision sooner rather than later and that will give both sides plenty of time to make other arrangements if necessary.

| I hope he stays with us but for the good of the club they need to know who his choice is then they know that xyz players are available and if he stays we only need look at x and y for next season.
