If this is true, why the hell have they gone for Harrison, christ he'd be at the bottom of the list of all the usual suspect names. I know it's just a rumor atm but it's put me on a bit of a downer.

Karl is a quality coach, anyone who thinks otherwise clearly has no idea about the game, ask any former player who has played under him and they will tell you the same. he brings discpline, hard work, flair, tactical nous and he doesnt do that stupid fingering thing.

Thats where he got it all wrong at Salford, he replaced Eddie McGuiness with a total muppet. If he has learned from this he will do fine.

If ever proof that this is (if true) a poor appointment was needed this is it. Endorsed by our very own Colin Hunt, could it get any worse.

I wouldn't be too happy if Harrison was appointed but if you look at his record he has only ever really had one bad season when Salford were relegated and I am not making excuses but they had a series of horrendous injuries.

Can't make my mind up about Harrison. However the one that worries me is fox. Saw how McGillvery made him look like a an idiot then burned him off for pace. To me the guy looks shot.

I look at Harrison this way, he's not the worst name suggested. He's certainly better than Agar and at least has some guts unlike Noble. He's about the same as Milward for me.

At least his first signings are OK.

As for Fox I'm no big fan but sometimes that happens with Wingers. I remember Jonesy tracking offiah 70 yards and ending up tackling him head on. He skinned him big time and made him look like a cart horse but only we few remember David Jones. I suspect Fox has had a big fall out with Justin and simply can't be bothered Blanch style.
