| Quote Outwood Vic="Outwood Vic"Was trying to highlight what little faith I have in King/Bibb at the mo, Would rather play KH at prop, at least he will be secure defensively. Think King will come good, but needs to work on his general fitness IMHO.'"
I seriously hope you're joking, Hendo tough as he is would get murdered. Bibb I get your point. King I think it's wee bit early, for heavens sake at least let him play one proper game before you scapegoat him

| I hope all the new signings are given a fair run before people start shooting them down! Paul King has the potential to be a solid prop for us. He needs work as does any other pro player, but given time he'll come good.

| Quote vastman="vastman"Maybe, but let's let King play at least one game before we start to use a very small S/R (pumped up centre) as a prop. To say you're being a touch premature is an understatement.
'"
As i have pointed out, I make my assesment based on seeing him 3 times already! And anyone who thinks that defending down the middle is all about size................well
King will come good, imho I just wouldn't play him on Sat.
As for Tronc, his stats may say one thing but his body language after 20 mins against Wigan would tell another story, give him time to build his fitness, same as King.

You do realise there is a difference between a friendly and a real game?
Thankfully people who actually know what they are on about like JK (not you or me) base their team selections on more than 240 mins of friendlies.
Of course size matters down the middle, especially in defending! Did you not see how a bigger Catalan pack blew us away in the play offs. You can carry a small hooker like Sam especially as his tackling technique is brilliant, that said three Sams in the pack would be a disaster - don't kid yourself. To wish to do the same at prop is lunacy. I don't care how well Henderson has done at prop in emergency, not many would play him there if they had a real prop available ie King.
If you don't rate King after 2-3 games fair enough, but to suggest we Hendo instead of giving him a go I can't go with.

We'll agree to disagree Be interesting to see what team JK does pick, and if indeed he does pick King (which i think he will) to see how many tries he costs us? Hope im wrong

| I'm currently working in Hampton and have taken the opportunity to stay overnight tonight so I can go to The Stoop for the first time . All the locals here tell me that the parking around The Stoop is virtually non-existent with resident passes required. Rumour has it that Quins have a limited pay car park at the ground.
I am purely going on hearsay. Anyone had any experience and been here before?

There is a pay car park operated on match days just outside the ground just off the dual carraigeway - you will have no problem getting in there!

The car park is only limited on Union International days. As TRB says, there will be no problems tomorrow.
Alternatively, if you can get to Waterloo, there is a great train service to Twickers, a few quid and less than 1/2 hour.
