Out of those that have gone/are on loan/travelling round Europe who are you really bothered about going? Only Pitts for me as he will be a quality player in years to come the others will be no great loss as they will be easily replaced I would imagine. The rest is just rumour especially those 4 players to Wigan, where did you pick that up, on here by any chance? More unsubstantiated rubbish!

Don't agree with that one. Most folk have been aware for some time of the calibre of player we are looking to bring in. Tronc / Newton / Morrison are all QUALITY players and will make a difference to the quality of play we produce. I don't believe that this would be a primary reason for any player leaving - but I could be wrong!

Nevermind the negative rumours, lets stick to positive news.

Excellent signing. Seen him a couple of times and been impressed and the stats back it up. He has everything that JK likes in a player and a bit more.

Now get us the 6 to play outside Brough and the signature of Snitch and i will happily go with that

Are there anymore? Are the ones with ?? OOC? Have we re-signed any already?? What about Korki, is there a deal to be done cos if we lose Wilkes along with Sculthorpe that leaves us a little light in the front row.

Don't know about Snitch seems that it was announced he'd signed a 2 year deal but it was actually a 1 year deal with an option of a 2nd year. Though it does appear he might be staying now.

As to Korki I guess it depends if Hudds want shut of him as I can't see us paying a fee for him.

Negotiations ongoing - internally and externally!

There is another aspect to the 'ins and outs' of players, we have lost (or possibly about to lose) from our initial 2009 squad: Rooney, Scully, Pitts, Bibb, Snitch, Wilkes. All of whom are British, so I would assume that JK, PB et al are scouring other teams in order to increase our 'Britishness' as per RFL/ESL requirements. I also assume that we are not going to fill the gap with current academy players although we need these to meet the 'home grown' quota or whatever it is. I wonder if anyone knows all the various quotas etc or does someone at RFL HQ just make them up as the need arises?

Agreed, all the press releases at the time said it was a 2 year contract, not 1 with 1 option.

But that is what we have I'm afraid!

Not really good enough from the Club that one. They have pretty much lied about the length of his contract. Every player has the 'option' of extending their contract if they and the club so wish.
