I understand from someone at the club that for the duration of the works on the new west terrace and stand that away supporters will occupy the rear of the north stand and Trinity supporters the front of the north stand.
South terracing and the seating should suffice.

We will just restrict away allocation to East Stand areas and South Terrace. No reason at all to effect the popular North Stand/Terracing. Someone is winding you up.

| Can’t see it personally. The 3-500 south terrace and few hundred seating won’t be enough for alot of SL teams like Cas, Hull, Leeds etc. if it had to be done during season then it would have to be Catalans home game etc.
If it were me I’d complete the west stand works starting 21st June.
We have only one home game vs Catalans up till 24th July when we play Leeds.
That’s 4 weeks which would possibly be enough to get the works done ready for Leeds.
Catalans will barely bring a car full so if we get 6k or so that’s not bad for one game not using west.

| Whether a leg-pull or not I heard( from the same source as mentioned away fans in the north stand) that the west terrace works will take place during the 2026 season.

| We've got circa 4500 season tickets holders, without the west terrace the capacity of the ground is circa 6k. We've got say 6500 homes fans to the first two games. The away allocation should absolutely be limited to the south terrace and east stand seating. Who cares if they only have 500 or so. We should be catering for the home support, not reducing it to give the away team a decent allocation and reducing the impact of the more vocal support at the ground.

My thoughts too. Can't see the club being stupid enough to do otherwise. We have just come out in support of Nigel Wood though.

That was the original plan so makes sense but that isn't how it sounded on the Podcast.
The training facilities will be great if he gets it through but I thought there was still a lot if work to do there, ecen if they get agreement to proceed, which isn't certain.
It wasn’t very clear on the podcast but I think the issue was more with the question was asking not just about one project but multiple around the ground. So Ellis I think answered discussing the two main ones in one go. Not sure what the hint is for the location of training facilities but I might look at a map later. That would be exciting and I wonder if there would be a sporting grant to assist and it could really help in community aspects. Very exciting if we can get a quality training centre and training pitches etc. I think Matt Ellis has mentioned West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club previously. as I spent several years playing my rugby league at this venue during the 1980s... I think it qualifies very nicely as a centre of excellence... By association..Seriously tho.. It's well located, loads of space and potential It also has an element of privacy with it being tucked away down a road that apart from a few houses only goes to WYS&S. it’s in a nice part of the City too.I’m sure this won’t be an issue as they’ll do what’s necessary but it is prone to flooding and can become very boggy especially at the bottom end. From memory there’s 2 football pitches, a rugby pitch, cricket oval, 2 small all weather areas the club house and a sizeable private parking lot so plenty of room

| I was delighted when we stayed at Belle Vue. Now we are seeing a transformation of the ground I'm even happier.
Watching Wigan vs Hull and the ground looks embarrassingly empty. The camera shot comes from the fullest stand but it doesn't look good. So glad we didn't move to a large soulless stadium!
Long live Belle Vue!
