i would have thought that the wage offered would reflect Wakefields opinion of him.....just another thought?

Because there's only a certain amount of cash, I'd rather the big money be spent on players that are better e.g quality half backs

| Well done for stating the obvious. The only positive is he's an improvement on Griffin.

| RE cockayne - hes a very good player on his day...speedy and elusive. hes ripped us to pieces a few times in the recent past... be a good signing if he can knuckle down and concentrate on his rugby.

| If rugby league teams didn't have some player/players who are supposed d1ckheads most teams wouldn't be able to put 17 players out on a match day.
If he signs back him, if he screws up sack him.

| I'm liking the look of Mauri Fa'asavalu (spell?) on the World Cup for Samoa.
When he's finished I wonder if he fancies Super League again. He's had a rest now so should be fit.

| He has been a regular in a HKR side that has finished well above us in the last few years. Even when he had other options, Morgan picked BC as he knew what he brought to the team.
As i have said before, people can question why we are signing a player with his record off the field but surely nobody can doubt his ability on it???
Its amazing how differently people see the game!!
Ability wise, he is better than, Blaymire, Veivers, Morton, Griffin, Semi, Johnson & Dean from last years squad. He is as commited on the field as Murphy and will play more games than George.
All in all, if he's a good lad he will be a good signing if not he will be back at Fev.

Unfortunately, that is the bit I personally would not take the risk on.
We are gradually building a good team and back room. It would be a shame to upset the proverbial apple cart by taking a risk on someone with his trail of destruction.

Have you seen any evidence of him upsetting the apple cart in terms of dressing room though??
He's a good player and I haven't personally seen anything from players he's played with to suggest that any of them would be unhappy to have him as a team mate.
They may not want to be mates with him off the field but as long as he's not upsetting the dressing room then why not? As long as he is aware that any further indiscretions will see him gone.

You are right......but he'd pee me off if I was in the dressing room so I'm making my judgement on that.
Of course we will wait and see. If he is a Wakefield player I'll cheer him the same, but wouldn't sign him if it were my choice.
