All true, Booth/Hkr a 4 year deal, Wakey, only a 12month loan deal.
I like most of you are not kean on this prior 12 month sign on lever players now have, but it is what it is !
So, we should have signed players like Max last year, now we are in a weaker position, this kind of situation will continue unless we wise up Quickly ?
It may not just be money, players like stability & 4yrs is very tempting !

We've swapped a player on 1 year contract for a player on 1 year loan. It's not that big a deal.
The 4 years is nothing to do with us.

You’d of thought we had just swapped Dom Young the way some are going on. We’ve just swapped Booth for a younger more accomplished player (Yorkshire, England academy international) in a position we actually need bulking up. Let’s see how the lad gets on, he’s got all the athletic characters to be a top player.
It’s a year loan in the last year of his contract, so I’m pretty sure he’ll be working his backside off to earn a contract with us, if it doesn’t work out then we cut ties with no 2/3 year deal hanging over us. To me it seems really simple good business.

don't worry about it mate... The majority of trinity fans have 30-50 years of heartache, disappointment, false dawns and empty promises. It will take several seasons before the slightest setback will not (genuinely) feel like the sky is falling. I'm sure we will lose more players in the future, simply because they want to move on...

I genuinely think a lot of people see that it’s Hull Kr, that it’s a swap deal, one a loan the other a 4 year deal, that Hull Kr have plundered our players for several years now.
But the facts are Booth was already off, Neil won’t get in over Tom Davies or Joe Burgess who both are rarely injured. He has more opportunity in our team for sure to get a starting birth, with Walmsley untested at SL and Russell aging and still not played a competitive game in yonks.

I know your right mate, it just bugs me when they dont know how much effort, commitment and money has gone into this theres no bigger trinity fans than whoose at the helm now.

Anyway we all have different opinions of players. I liked booths pace but I share opinion with a few others that he was a bit soft at times.

I genuinely think most fans appreciate it mate, just some unfortunately are scarred abit from being shafted over the years by teams especially KR. If this deal was done with say Catalan or Warrington it wouldn’t have had half the negative feedback. One question I’ve been meaning to ask. Were we ever in for Lewis Murphy?
