All Trin's tries had to be worked for whereas Wire were certainly given a helping hand from Referee Campbell. There was a short spell in the second half when the defence went to pieces somewhat, but to hold out with only eleven men on the field certainly took some doing. Anthony England was awesome in the first half. Every player played their part today. Catalans on a neutral ground next week are certainly beatable

We've scored more points against them than any other team this season and are only the second team to put 30+ points on them after Salford lost 30 - 31 earlier in the season.

Respect to the Wire fans.
The first "big" club to be beaten at BV and not squeal like a bunch of school girls.
No comments about the ref, too much grass on the pitch, injury crisis, booking busses for London (still don't understand this one).
Your club and fans, have taken the defeat on the chin and moved on.
It must just be clubs with a Wigan influence that lack dignity and class.
Anyhow, it makes a very refreshing change  |

Without a doubt - it's become rather tiresome listening to the excuses of various clubs and coaches who've come to BV expecting the usual easy 2 points, only to go home empty handed. It looked to have reached its nadir with the classless Shaun Wane, but Denis Betts took the moaning to a whole new level.
Unsurprisingly, Tony Smith and Warrington have been gracious and given us fair credit. |
