Jeremy Smith hardly played which is quite telling so I'll give you that one.
Tommy Lee did alright for a makeshift halfback and considering he played behind a pack a thousand times worse than Miller did last year or this year. Lee was heavily criticised for his defence which I never really got because, unless your a Jose Mourihno type of coach, you don't play someone at halfback for their defence.

Tommy Lee played for years at half-back before he came to us so I'm not sure that's classed as makeshift. I agree about the beaten pack though, but that's nothing new for us. It wasn't only Lee's defence that was bad, his skill levels were very poor and still are. Best place for him is hooker where he can pinch a living like he is now.

| Barely a line on the captain being dropped. No mention of Kirmond being injured. It must be purely down to form.
Scruton in the 17 so hopefully is OK to play. Molloy to take Kirmond's place possibly? Walton to take Gibson's place at centre.
A bench with Simon, Anderson, A.Tupou and Sio looks a strong one if that's selected....

| Don`t know what Hall has done wrong as it seems strange that our most creative player in pre season ( I know not much competition ) can`t get a run out in the least creative side I have seen in a long time. Can anybody tell me how having watched Miller a coach decides that Miller offers more to a side that Hall. Beggars belief

I reckon it will be Johnstone back on the wing and Tupou back in the centre, Possibly Lyne playing on the right and Johnstone on the left.
Molloy for Kirmond could be a good call or perhaps Simon to start.

The three quarters is the most interesting.
Do we play Walton or Bill Toupu in the centres, which would make room for Johnstone o do we revert to the Lyne, Arundel, Toupu and Johnstone that played against Widnes and have Walton on the bench to cover second row and give options if someone picks up an injury.
Brave to drop Kirmo but, the guy isn't at his best just at the minute and certainly Molloy would give some extra power in the middle.
We have a real chance on Sunday, especially with KR's injury list but, If we c keep Kelly quiet, then maybe we can bag our first 2 points of the season.
Mantellato is a huge miss for them.

| On the Sky website it states Kirmond is injured but does not specify the injury unlike it does with other players in the article.
Big game and best chance of 2 points..forwards like Simon and Molloy must play and the pack needs to really turn up and dominate Hull KR (like having 6 x Anthony England's on the pitch)...

I would go with Tupou and Lyne on left, Arundel and Johnstone on right

I would probably go the exact opposite. Tupou and Lyne on the more defnsive side.

I think he has an injury that means he can't bend his back. Very poor for three seasons.

| I hope that the pack has a bit more aggression than they have shown so far and gets into the faces of HKR.
Most of all, I wish we had a captain that gives the players a kick up the proverbial, when it is needed, one who encourages, chastises and leads by example!
As a dinosaur, I think of the likes of the great Derek Turner and even the great Neil Fox both of whom I have heard shouting at team mates on the pitch!
We need a LEADER not a pal.
