I hate being negative as it does no good what so ever but I cant see anything other than another 60 or 70 pointer next week, I also don't like the fact that players seem to be coming back who are far from fit. If we are aiming up for the 8s we need to get players right before bringing them back.

Thought Godinet and Lyne made a great difference.
I like the look of Kavanagh. Happy for him to stay.
Washbrook was great. Hurt us when he went off

Those concentrating on the mistakes are missing the point for me.
They were busting a gut and were right in it against a team who were clearly better than us.
We had players getting knocks and we lost a bit of composure but they put in a massively improved effort and they deserve credit.

It's a mark of how conditioned we've become to being hammered that we don't think that 40points against us is being taken to the cleaners

Then Leigh.

Wigan didn't play as well as they can , but you didn't play that bad,I think you will still finish with the Wooden Spoon at the end of the season , but for me the Cup game against Leigh will be a very close tough game.

The cup game is pretty irrelevant in the scheme of things IMO, the preparation towards the middle eight’s is the key.

Whoever wins the C.C tie will probably go out in the next round, the Holy Grail is S.L – it’s going to be spicy.

Pita played well, millers is going to find it hard to get back in

I can see where Webbo is coming from when he says they haven't enough players to train together. The mistakes in both attack and defence come mainly from misunderstandings between players. Gutted for Kirke tonight.

40 against we was pants to be honest

Wakefield don't have the 'big signings' like Salford, even though that when they played us they had 18 players out injured. BUT we will have to play BETTER than we did v the city red devils to win this one.

Gutted for Kirke although he should be back for the middle 8's. Kicking game as poor as ever but there was certainly more team spirit on show. Godinet and Washbrook were stand outs for me and Lynne made a big impact on his return. Ryan defended well out wide.

Can't knock the effort but the execution again left a lot to be desired and the defence is pretty poor. Wigan didn't play well and still put 40 on us and god knows how many they bombed. Biggest positive was Godinets return to form, he is a big asset when fit and firing and it was good to see Lyne back. 6 league games on the trot we have shipped 40 or more now though and it isn't good enough.
