Tonight - Friday night, game on Sky, raining, plus a serious No. of fans have packed in with whats gone on this last few years.
What do you think att ought to have been?

Was on Sky, watched by lots of casual fans, good performance, a win, Widnes next, someone mentioned this game bring a mate for a tenner.
Think it has worked out pretty well.

A damn sight more than the sub 3k Trinity crowd for a home match against Leeds. You can't sustain a SL side on such a small number and it is in everyone's in interest as it has a direct influence on the quality of the team the club can put out on the park.

Well I agree but can understand why theres now so many stay aways.

Hopefully we'll finish the season in reasonable form, get some fans back and then see an increase in ST sales for next year?

After the last few performances i really hope it attracts some new fans/stay aways. just a few at a time is a reasonable objective. oOn the field you can't really do any more.

Too many pathetic excuses to stay away lately ,won't win this ,won't win that,pick my games? What's all that about bums on seats is what we want,the team is now doing their bit,how many positive results does it take

I do wonder whether the previous regime was using season tickets plus turnstile clicks for the figures, and now it is pure clicks.

Appeared a very poor turn out from leeds fans last night.

Thought this also, although I've, been at Sheadingley when the loiner fans have had to pay (non ST games) in recent years and those games didn't seam as important judging by the turn out also.
TBF it must be expensive being a loiner, GF and CC runs etc...

I can't speak for what's happening at other clubs looking at attendances I think its the same all over' but travelling fans' visiting Wakey are getting less and less every year, apart from Cas, even both sets' of Hull fans who normally go everywhere in big numbers' don't bring as many now, same with Wigan,Saints, and Wire, some people will blame our ground but its not just that a lot of away fans' having been coming to BV longer than some of our own fans'. I'm dreading this Thursday's game against Widnes, I bet there will be more Skypundits' there than Widnes fans' with it being a worknight and on Sky not to mention our stay away fans for different reasons', if your going to be late again Cheshire ring em they'll probably hold back the kick off till you get there.

It was a sight worse turn out from so called Wakefield 'supporters' god knows what the attendance would have been without those from Leeds!

Some WTW fans such as myself live a significant distance away from Wakey now and with work/family commitments can't make (or then on other occasions afford) the round trip at the weekend to see the team play every home game.

Wakey also isn't the most of affluent areas and I wonder whether there are fans in the area that just don't have the cash anymore?

It may be that a mid season 3 x home game ticket discounts could ensure an increase in attendance? E.g. It would better to get £50 in sales over 3 home games than nothing?
