| If we can build on the second half of the London game which we will in better conditions to help Smithy et al then confidence will grow and with that will come success
Off field is Mr Carters to manage but we can do our bit by being there giving our support and have to say Northstanders were like an extra man of Friday.

| Staying up, balancing the books and getting shut of Agar without paying him off would be an excellent season with all things considered. Doesn't mean I'm happy to watch some of the dross this team has served up this year. The first half on Friday was as bad as I've seen in terms of an idiotic approach the game and conditions.

That's pretty much where I am. MC has done a fantastic job with the club, and staying up is a great end goal. Telling people that they should come along when all that matters is how it looks in September is a tricky sell. I don't expect to see us win anything or make the play-offs, but Wakey fans have always applauded effort whatever the outcome.

| Im certain if it had been dry we would have won and quite well the trouble is your plans go straight out the window when you are hit by a torrential down pour like happened.Webster selected the squad as I much thought he would we needed the win and got it he went with more or less what has worked in the past. The time to try the untested is next week when non of us expect a win but just try one change at a time. The games we have a chance in play the tried and tested.
As for someone got it right in the 60s yes on the field but off it the club sold players then bought them back for far more than they sold them shortly after a few times.

Isn't watching the dross part and parcel of being a supporter? Could we really expect anything else? Wakefield as a club are back at point 1. They are basically a new club who have been thrown into SL and look like winning the battle to survive.
This has to be year 1 of a long term project. To expect much more than we have got this season in my opinion is very unrealistic.

| I like most fans are more than happy with the position we are now on and off the pitch considering the turmoil we were in pre season. This is the first season of rebuilding the club/team. Hopefully we can move forward as a club get the stadium situation sorted and it's happy times at WTRLFC

| We were always going to have to hit rock bottom to get shut of Agar. The crowd v London looked well up on the Warrington turn out. So weather, evening K.O. and no away fans was easily outweighed by the new Agar free zone.

I was in the old hospitality boxes on the West Terrace.
It looked damp outside but couldn't see properly for all the rivulets of rain on the windows!

I think the tenner a ticket, kids for a quid deal might just have helped as well.

No doubt but I think the resignation of Agar helped. Lets hope the upward trend continues.

| If the club are seriouse about balancing the books it needs to take a close look at its self, as a supporter since the sixties i am really getting disalusioned. I have bought a season ticket for my grandson and myself for many years now and after finding out on Friday before the game that after all thats been said about stopping people getting into the ground for nothing some are aquiring free tickets, this is starting to p me off. On top of that when we got to the turnstile we had a bag of refreshments confiscated my a jobsworth who informed us that it is clubs policy not to let people take their own refreshments in so that they buy inside. So when did this come into force, i have openly done this for many years and not once been challenged about it, i would point out that i have still bought hot dogs, chip and beer etc throughout this season but we do enjoy alternatives at half time (avoids the long ques) all told we lost a bottle and a can of cola chocolate eclares, fudge biscuits etc, is it not against the law to take someones private possesions without giving them prior knowledge of the rules. All this may sound petty to a lot of people but its things like this that drive fans away when we really need to be attracting them. All in all i will seriously think next year as to whether i will buy season tickets or call it a day.
