I'm guessing Collis will be de-registered which leaves the club with 5 quota players, the return of Smith means Siejka is surplus to requirements so hopefully he can be moved on. |

No it was the case. It was only for the length of the first contract they signed.

The ones mentions by MC are our quota players, we are allowed two more 'non-fed' players with passport exemptions etc on top of that. Sammut has a maltese passport, Tautai samoan and Siejka polish so don't count as quota. Ali doesn't count as he was here pre 2008 when the new rules came in. But we still have 8 overall, 1 too many. Non-fed is all based around where the player played their junior/acadmey rugby i believe. |
