Well if Mathers or any of the other players read this forum and get the big sulk on about anything then I would say come and face the fans that had to put up with the last few abysmal performances and explain why they played without pride,passion,heart or effort.

The way I read the Post is the OP was told by mr Wilkes that the session was optional and wildcat26 has made his own observation has to how many players were there .how many we're there who knows but we all can draw our own conclusions on the low turn out.Personally I can understand the fans frustration.

This threads appears to me to be the usual reactionary ballcocks from Wakey fans rather than any considered analysis of a given situation. Overreact to success, overreact to failure. Would getting All the players in for an extra session mean we are more likely to beat Wigan or is it just a way to punish players and thus make the fans feel better with no beneficial effect on the team?

Seems to me like we've a lot crocked with a thin squad, and a coach who doesn't want to burn the young'uns unless he really has no choice. If that is the case, I can see it his way too.

Optional training is used by a lot of clubs. If you need extra training that's where you do it.
As long as there is enough 'regular' training it's not a big deal.
There are some highly strung people on here.

Can't wait for next game just so I van see how they react.
