I don't see anyone going into raptures about Singleton; I do see people being realistic though - given that we don't know what happened behind the scenes with Gledhill (unless you'd like to share) then we have to assume that either he wanted too much money, was advised to go elsewhere by his agent or that RA didn't rate him. Either way, we can only support the players who do run out for us next season.

There are usually two sides to a story.
As Fritzy alluded to I think James was probably wanting first team rugby.
He has gone to a top Championship side where he can perhaps make his mark and once noticed can then step back up into Superleague.

You've got a real gem in Singleton, my worry is that he will enjoy his time in the Wildcats squad and may decide that his future is with you. Amor decided to opt for regular first team rugby rather than be fifth/sixth choice for the Rhinos, Brad may decide to do the same if he gets a warm welcome from the fans rather than a Leeds reject attitude.

singleton is a better player than some of you give him credit for, IMO better than Kirke, Griffin and Moore, James, Lillycrop and Gledhill plenty Leeds fans agree,

thats a pretty strong statement to make , i presume youve seen plenty of the players youve mentioned to come out with a statement like that , i must have caught singleton on bad days when ive seen him but hey shows how i judge players folk on here thought he was good boxing day sorry i thought he was average

I hope Singleton will be a good loan signing but I agree with some previous posts I think the two experienced SL props that R.A. has mentioned in the recent past must have turned Wakefield down (one being Kirke) and Singleton is a late squad filler as a prop/second row due to injuries to 3 of our front row forwards.

I don't think Healy was given enough game time on Boxing Day either to see his full potential. Maybe he'll get it against Fev?

I might be wrong but I'm sure Agar said we were after one experienced prop and a utility forward that can cover SR and Prop.

Not trying to fall out with anyone especially vasty,
Just trying to put things in to perspective that considering budgets, player abilities etc I think it's a great bit of business to get Singleton for a year, who knows it could turn out like the Amor saga
