It's mind boggling. We have Johnson and Trout in the reserves yet we keep the likes of Mellars on the bench and play a hooker at prop! At least Big Ali is back this week, hopefully in the place of Mellars! Cas have a coach who picks a strong bench! |

Clarke had a very good game IMO and I couldn't understand how he didn't get MOM. Ferres - strange decision ? I don't think Clarke is ready yet for a starting position but when he comes off the bench for CT he can be quite devastating. I listened to Ian Millward's after match comments in the marquee and he said he would be contacting the England Knights selectors querying why he hadn't been picked for this years training squad. A future international - yes I certaininly think so.
Also Jordan Thompson got some good raps after the game. |

Clarke is a million times better than Hudson ever was. He has Roby qualities - speed of thought and action - and his scoots are brilliant.

Because if we were 'as bad as Widnes' it would have been a much tighter game - clearly.
It wasn't, we controlled and dominated the first half but weren't clinical enough. Had we have been it could have been over at half-time. In the second half, we tightened up and executed the moves and finished them off. |
