All the speculation surrounding Brough is the reason for my comment. I know he still has a year left on his contract, but if someone was prepared to pay a fee for him and he won't sign a new contract with us because its not what he wants that may force the club to cash in now

don't think brough is going anywhere. i wouldn't hnow but can't see why he would want to leave. everything is on the up for him at wakey. finish in the 6, new ground, drew leaving, he will be the main conductor. all the indicators are that he is happy at wakefield with jk and if rumours are to be believed, he has already signed an extension but that is just rumour.

Here we go already...give BJ a chance ...he is a confidence player etc, I can't believe we are are going to resign him. As said before he has all the talent but no heart or desire and NO coach can put that into a player. You can count on one hand the number of decent games he had in 5 years with us, yet there are too many occasions where he shovelled the ball as if i t were a bomb or he just totally disappeard. Really disappointed if this rumour is true !!!!!!

I may be in the minority but I'd be happy to see BJ back. I think along side Brough and behind a good pack we seem to be pulling together you will see what a good player he is. I know some did not like him and he was (and still is) a confidence player - I think that confidence will be there with Brough and a solid pack.

Only time will tell - whether the rumour is true in the first instance and then whether he can play or not if it is.

Have to agree. I'd love to believe different, but he was one of the most frustrating players I've watched at Wakey. He still seems to have he knack of doing well in the try assist stats that he did with us, but watching him week i week out he just seemed too reluctant to take the line on and threw far too many wretched passes. Being superb 1 in 5 games isn't enough and as far as my blood pressure is concerned is worse than just not being good enough full stop. At last Tomlinson was consistently crap.

Was v. optimistic for next season ( Tronc, Millard, Morrison)but are we really progressing by bringing BJ back ?? And as for the Hudson rumour , if this is true , can't honestly see myself buying a match ticket , nevermind renewing my season ticket

BJ went to bradford under a supposed dominating pack didnt do owt.

BJ & Newton 2/3rd's of bradfords most creative and attacking areas and look how they've plumented over the years they've been there. (not blaming those 2 solely) but bradfords attacking threat as of recent years has not really been desirable 5th worst attack this yr.

no maybe not that minority , for me the lip never shirked work in defence and a partnership with brough would make that area watertight.
