Think Lyne has had his best season so far, not a world beater but a decent squad player. Also as far as I remember he seems to always save a bad performance for Hull.
I think he is one of those players who you really need to know what he costs the club before you decide his worth.

Yes, poor execution trying to go up top to a strong runner with good upper body strength. Hopefully he will watch the video a few times and learn from it. All good players will learn and improve from their mistakes as I think Tom will do.

Indeed.
Relegation & possible extinction.
Sometimes people should be grateful for what they have and to be trying to find fault with our own players is just rank poor form.
The bottom line is that IF we could have fielded our best 13/17 every week, we weren't such a bad team but, at the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, when we were down to the bare bones we wren't competitive 
EVERY RL player makes mistakes, end of story.
Lets start looking forward to next season and stop the bitch fest, it's embarrassing.

Tom 29 missed tackles, and Lynne 32 in more games according to opta.Many players in team missed tackle percentage greater than Lynne and he is one of our top metre makers.

Tom's mistake on that try wasn't the missed tackle for me. He almost had him and slowed him down enough for others to get him.
What he didn't do was get back up and reload back into position. The try was scored because he wasn't stood on the line.
Small thing that he'll be able to work on.

It was both imo, his attempt at tackling the strong Talanoa around his chest, just to keep getting pushed away was poor and allowed them to get so close to our line, he should have gone low and he knew it. All part of his learning curve though. |
