| The posters and signage have little relevance to the public of Wakefield anyway. The only non season ticket holders that will be enticed to go to the game are the ones that already know about it; but don't want to pay the 22 dollar. Glover and his cronies have given cheap/free RL away, so why would the Wakefield public pay 22 dollar for something they were getting for nowt couple of years back. Next years ST prices are key.

| Quote: Tommy Duckfingers "Just to get something straight, one poster has a gripe about advertising boards and airs it on here, stating he is walking away as a result and is labelled pathetic by and large.
Another poster walks away apparently due to having a bottle confiscated and it's a travesty and he is hailed as some sort of martyr as a result?'"
If you're not in the know, like most of us, that seems a very fair summation.
Only history will tell us whether Carter is right on wrong in the way he runs the club, but it's his money and his neck on the line he he gets it wrong. If fans want to walk away, so be it, but I'd rather this approach from the club than the nonsense we had under the last lot.
Not as if anyone is queuing up right now to replace him. As long as we question decisions taken, what more can we do?

Yep ST prices for next year are key and getting the prices out sooner rather than later as MC has hinted, while the club is on a good run makes good sense.
The Widnes bring a mate for a tenner is a good start.
They don't have to shell out £22 for a game if they buy an early bird ST.

| Mate of mine kindly went to the Ridings shop today to buy a £10 ticket.
The shop was closed.
The time? Half past 2.
The sign on Donny Rd might be insignificant so some of you think.
The chairman sending out the call for more supporters - and then you can't even buy one ? Not good.

Get a key cut and open the shop yourself instead of moaning on here.

| I had a quick look at the web site to see if the opening times were on there.
Nope, not a thing.

If you google Wakefield Wildcats Store opening times, it provides a link there. Although it does say it should have closed at 3 yesterday.

| Returned from my trip to Wakefield still elated by the win over Leeds.
Now three wins and a draw.
Brilliant.
Put on forum and read great news about Scruton, then now all this moaning again.
May never top Superleague during what's left of my life, but hell we sure are near top of 'moaning league'.

Thank you for your feedback. Having checked into this matter the shop closed at 3.05. However because we can only afford to have one member of staff on duty and there are no toilet facilities there are occasions where the shop shuts for 5 minutes to allow convenience breaks. When this happens a sign is always displayed stating this.

| To offset any negativity from disgruntled posters' on here who are unfortunate to go for a ticket when the assistant's gone for a leak, perhaps the club could provide a bucket for the unfortunate employee in the back room to save lost revenue for the club, it doesn't have to be a new one.

It reads "Gone for a wee wee back soon I couldn't hold it any longer for you to come and buy your ticket"

Bradford have plenty of them and there's not much in them!

| I suppose it is a matter of priorities would you prefer the finances to be spent on the team or sales. I know you need the latter but without the former doing well you would probably not need an outlet away from the ground.
I am amazed that some of our supporters just continue to give ammunition to those whose only point in life is to question our existence. I don't care if one sign was not updated nor do I care if the shop is shut slightly early but I do care about the impression some of the posts on here make us appear to those in the game.
I would say just enjoy what's left of the season, be glad we still exist and are not destined for relegation and if you feel something is wrong let the club know not post it on a forum.

Probably not shared by everybody on here but for me its a candidate for best post of the season, the only concern is some people will look at this and say its a forum and I can say what I like.
