I asked the question several times on the forum which you would know if you had looked particularly for those who believe relegation is an acceptable result with little impact.

So as many people have replied, this forum isn't where the people with your answers live, though some have tried to explain to you.
I haven't seen one person say relegation is acceptable. Carter and now JM have explained, in the press why the stadium was the priority.
I'm not sure what other answer you are looking for.

I wouldn't mind betting some of the 'top clubs' are servicing debts of more than 3 million.
At least ours is a structured loan.

There is no way we could run a full time team in the Championship, the only teams who can do this are ones who have owners who put their hand in their pocket such as Beamont at Leigh last season. Even Featherstone who's owner puts in a small fortune do not run with a full time squad.

Leeds ,Huddersfield, St ,Wigan Think Hull are over 3 million , And Salford are a law on to them selfves .One bad season and there shafted big time

We shouldn’t have and didn’t need to spend £500K on an artificial pitch!

The old playing surface just needed some care and attention to bring it back to its best. The pipe dream that we’ll get significant revenue from renting the hybrid pitch out just doesn’t wash with me. We won’t get enough to justify half a million pounds and what we do get could’ve been handled by the old pitch had it been properly maintained.

Some of that money could have gone on 2 or 3 quality replacements for those who left last season.
Take Atonis wage and top it up sufficiently to get a quality front rower, do the same with with Smith/Torfuas wage and get a quality half back and a hooker. Then offer Batchelor enough to change his decision to leave.
That wouldn’t have used more than £200k/£250k leaving £300k or so still in the coffers.

None of that deflects from the stadium build which is rightly our top priority.
It’s not a black and white either or situation with the clubs finances, why do people talk in such absolutes?
A bit of foresight and some manipulation of what’s available and we could at least have been competitive while still building the new stand and doing other refurbishments

When we purchased the ground I am pretty sure the rental payments will cease and if I remember correctly the agreement to start the loan repayments was delayed until the work started. This would suggest we were living rent free for quite sometime.

We have more than 17 players. That could apply to anyone not in the starting team.
If he didn't play Eseh you'd complain he didn't give him a chance.
