No I don't know more than anyone else on here, unlike some who profess to know more than coaches etc. This whole Miller/Finn thing, you and others are giving a detailed account of Millers' perceived weaknesses, yet a coach who has over 30 years experience can't see those weaknesses?! Brian Smith obviously saw enough of Miller in his time last season to offer him an extended deal, yes? Some people on here at that time expressed their opinions that he wasn't up to it, he was a Championship player, and most of them got shot down for doing so, being negative probably. Then they come back and say I told you so, and you say it's hindsight?!! He's an individual, off the cuff type of player, hence the reason Finn was bought, to organise, to be the main kicker in general play etc, to compliment Millers' game perfectly, according to Smith. It hasn't worked, Miller has actually gone backwards since last season, at least he was scoring tries, the leading scorer at the club, this season don't think he's scored any yet. I don't take any delight in the club time and time again making bad choices when it comes to player and coaching recruitment, it's quite depressing and worrying how wrong they get it sometimes, but don't have a go at people for criticising, at the time someone is signed, not 6 months later, at the time. I wish Chester all the luck in the world and hope he gets something out of the squad we have, and at least puts a smile back on the faces of us long suffering fans.....

Like Luke Dorn said on Radio Leeds, Paul Anderson was using the 'inexperienced' card but apart from young Simpson at the back, your other starting 12 should have had enough to put us away. |

Our woefulness plumbed new depths today, you would have beaten us in previous weeks probably with that enthusiasm.
As for the Anderson comments, i think he was referring to the bench, but we had enough talent to beat you easily today but as we know, talent alone doesn't win games. |

If he was using the bench as a reason, that's 4 players out of 17.
Two of those, in Larne Patrick and Kruse Leeming are not that green.
Josh Johnson was a handful, the only one that looked green was Mason. |

Simpson played ok and if you ask any Leigh fan, Brierley is the bestest of the best. |

Without being picky but any Wakey player could have and would have dithered over Howarths kick, that's what we do, so expect Simpson to be a Wakey player soon!
As for the other try he 'gifted', if it's Johnstone's 2nd, you need to look at the first 3 he ran through.
Brierley looked lost, can rip it up in the Championship but has he got a big enough character to stand up to Brough when he does something wrong, because if he doesn't shape up Brough will let him know. |
