TRB, Are you going to be buying a £1000 worth of shares on this latest offering? In your opinion, how many of the existing share holders at the meeting will be contributing to the £500,000 (I understand, this will just be your opinion, but it will be useful to hear, as many of us are feeling like mugs at the minute).

Re 2 - I presume there are legal reasons why they can't say immediately? There can be no other valid reason as we are against the clock here

Re 3 - Surely better for them to announce what they are donating from the off, so people can see they are doing their bit (obviously they should clarify as well that they won't be taking the shares)

Yes - and around 30% of those present seemed to indicate that they would - but of course not all were present.

Why would the BOD invest in a share issue if they are going to resign anyway?

Would starting again debt-free in the championship be such a bad thing anyway? While her intentions may have been good, our executive directors very public spat with Nigel Wood was the final nail in our coffin as he doesn't take kindly to be shown up like that. Why don't we cut our losses and reform? We've lurched from one crisis to another and the club in its current guise will never be an attractive proposition for investors. But a new club in the championship might just be. At least that way they might just be a club bearing the city name left to support because the one we have now won't see the year out.

Mate, I don't want them getting any shares, I want them to contribute to the money required as its principally their fault we are in dire straits

But if we did drop down and reform and even if we found an investor and everything was rosy the same idiots are still in charge at the RFL and quite frankly I really want nothing to do with a sport which is run by a bunch of crooks.
