Have you contributed yet?'"
A bit different as we could run a youth team in partnership with the lions, however we want to be the best we can be so are running our own academy, hardly the same as begging for money to prolong the inevitable. We took our medican a long time ago, and have steadily built up. Unlike you who are cling to the golden gose of super league for dear life.
And yes I have contributed, I sold raffle tickets last week, I have introduced sponsors to the club, I have even helped arrange a sponsor for the Dewsbury Cheerleaders. So yes I do my bit.

| From time to time many clubs appeal to supporters or whoever for additional cash for one reason or another.
Don't be so condescending!!!

Your club has been living above its means for years, getting bye on false promises. Its is time to take the medicine. Like I said before, our club were no better but we did what we have to. Your club is clinging on to the golden goose for dear life.
Your club is like a smack head, it thinks if it takes another "hit" of super league everything will be all right, when it is Super league thats killing it. Your in the wrong league for you means, simple as that.

| Probably so, the rfl will no doubt see to that.
I have much admiration for your club and the way it goes about it's business, potentially they could well be a SL standard team if they continue to progress.
Much of the proffesionalism is driven by daryl and mark's tireless efforts, keeping daryl is paramount.
I don't however have much admiration for your terminology, and while we may well have problems, don't let your small team in Wakefield attitude, get in the way of your own aspirations for your own team.

Our club hasn't been living above its means for years, the BOD have run it that way which is frustrating to us Wakefield fans because a professionally run Wakefield Trinity could and would be a successful Super League club. The community Stadium being delayed is a blow but it will happen and as hopefully will new owners of the club who know how to run a pro sports club.
New stadium and forward thinking owners and club can be massive like it once was and you know it. Thats why you are desperate for it not to happen the bitterness in your posts shows that. If you're Bitter or obsessed with something you either love it or are scared of it? WE ARE WAKEFIELD TRINITY RLFC HATED, ADORED NEVER IGNORED.

There's a world of difference between the FAQ's & the questions that really need to be answered.
Apparently James Elston is meeting fans after the ST meeting tonight & may well expand on the latest info that's been put on the website.
HMRC have certainly not helped in their desire to "cut their nose off to spite their face" after Crusaders went into Administration. By refusing to allow WT to pay what's outstanding on the payment plan originally agreed, they're increasing the chance that they'll lose the lot if the business can't raise the cash.
Having considered the information that is already available and spoken to the club further, I cannot see any feasible solution that gives the CLUB long term stability that does not involve entering Administration - if only for a short period of time.
I accept that Administration will almost certainly mean that we'd be looking at 3 years in the Championship, but I think that is probably not a bad thing as it would allow the new management a reasonable period of time to build a stable base on which we can go forward.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

What is the difference between how things have been done and ' professionally ' ? , a company being run ' Professionally ' earns more than it spends , these new owners who know how to run a pro sports club will have run one before , I take it , and lastly , if your attendances remain the same in a council community stadium , your income will be sevearly reduced
Not trolling just putting a more balanced view on things
