Warrington have put a forward at 6 too tonight.
To answer legend's point there are many skills to being a 6.
Right now none of the alternatives have them all. Max is probably closest but Powell is going for Pitts because he already plays the 13 passing role and is the best defender which is a key role for a 6 now.
We lose on running and kicking.
Pitts didn't have experience at 6 but he had experience taking first receiver and taking a lead role for the team.
If Pitts does play I'd like to see Hood and Max take a bit of pressure of Lino with the kick.
Not often but the opposition need to see we have an alternative
Was said a bit tongue in cheek ,and I did notice a forward at 6 . He was more mobile than Pitts ,and the Wires did have Pace and strength on BOTH sides of the Park ,that we did not have against Cas,. Am I right in thinking, if you lose pace in one part of the field , you have got to replace it some were else on the field ,or are we saying speed is not important |

To be fair Griffin had a good half, best for a long time. Agree about Griffin I just watched a team give 100% for 80 minutes ,best we have played for 3 games .Scott and Hall worked hard in defence ,but still not a lot to offer in attack though Rourke had a good game at fullback ,pity Mr Powell leaves him out of the team when Max play's there .Lino had is worst game of the season, but with all the work he as had to do with the state of the half's over the recent games not surprised Lot more confident about Castleford game than last week |
