| Quote: Trinity_lurcher "Fair point, but I feel this was the season to keep fans on board. We will get vastly increased central funding this year, so it was the year to not go big on price increases. Plus away support will be significantly higher.'"
That is why the prices are still cheap though.
There are more upgrades, a stronger team to pay for so prices were never going to remain. But they are priced to keep fans on board so I don’t see your point.
Only the east is probably priced along with the rest of SL. North and west are very well priced and certainly north should sell out.
Away fans will come in droves at £15 ticket price per game.
We need to promote big attendances for both utilisation and attendance over 3 years. You can’t just short sightedly look at the short term season picture. We need big attendances this year to build on the 5500 or so average. We need to power creep to 7000 over next few years and that’s why there’s a modest increase not back to previous SL level costs.
The central funding is not to subsidise cheap tickets for fans. That’s not how to become a successful club.

| Next season will need total dedication from home fans and even more so those travelling away supporters because of the blanket tv coverage.

I'm not talking about subsidising cheap tickets forever. My point was price increases should be staggered season upon season. £180 increase for a family of 4 is significant. That was my point.
Hopefully, we will sell a bucket load anyway, and my concerns were just over pessimistic!

| I reckon we'll still be cheaper than most SL teams this year.

I would agree if they weren’t at a very low baseline cost this season. I get the big increase but that’s been offset with the huge saving this season.
It’s going to cost me an extra £60 for the child ticket in north. I personally think that’s a bit steep as I was expecting around £30 but it’s still incredibly good value.
It would be wonderful if we got to the 6000 mark. I think numbers will be similar to last season.
I think we will average between 6500 this coming SL season with a couple of big ones vs Cas, Leeds, KR and a few sub par likes of Salford, Hudds, Catalans who probably will all come in a Citroen c1.
The more success we have on field though we will see numbers rise. If we can make playoffs this season we could see those 7500-8000 trinity fans at the final become regular and bring in new fans.
I also can’t wait till the sports bar and restaraunt with sky terrace on south east corner is built. I’ll be making a trip there pre match for a fair few games.

| I think the prices are excellent and more income can definitely be made from making it easier to get a drink or a pie I have been getting to games early to get a drink and having to queue for 15 minutes but at half time I have not bothered joining the queue because I would envitably miss the start of the second half

I agree that is still great value. I was hoping for £175 north stand adults and £20 kids. However, I have absolutely no expertise in selling anything or marketing! So, I will trust the club.
I agree on attendance. We might push towards 7000 average. I think over 9000 for Cas and Leeds, over 8000 for Hull KR and Hull, over 7000 for Wigan and Saints. That would help offset Catalans and Huddersfield. Fingers crossed Cas and Leeds aren't on a Thursday night!
Once the ground is further improved, I like you can see attendance improving and more booze and food being sold!

Yep. Definitely needs sorting. Especially with more Friday and Saturday night games next season.

Whereabouts do you stand/sit? We’re in the Northstand and you can queue a few minutes but can always watch the game from the queues. I agree regarding food outlets there need to be more of them on or around the North stand

| Quote: Trinity_lurcher "It's all relative isn't it. People who could afford £250 last year only have to find an extra £20, which isn't the case for the North Stand.
I didn't say the east stand prices should increase by 33%, and I agree £360 would be too expensive. However, I feel a jump of a third for the North Stand is too much of a jump. A family of 2 adults and 2 kids would now be paying an extra £180. That is a significant amount of extra money. Plus the North Stand facilities are awful. Paying more to literally urinate up a wall, and queue endlessly for beer. I think a graduated approach would have made more sense. Maybe £175 this year, and then when facilities improve increase further.'"
I will be paying [iless[/i for my North Stand ticket, as I was part of Commit 6 and we ended up paying £312 I think - so not everyone is paying more....

| You cannot watch the game whilst queuing if you sit in the new stand as the bars are underneath.

| I'm happy with the pricing and after the Grand Final experience in the NF Stand we are getting our season tickets in there , we've enjoyed the West Terrace but the NF Stand blew us away .
We are hopefully next season watching a significantly better Super League product than we have in the past and I think that needs to be factored in to the value of the season tickets .
I'm also wary that Matt has put a lot of money in to the club and we have to back him too , it's not a one way street .

| Quote: bellycouldtackle "Think we are underselling the product, its too cheap and why should there be any concessions. Why the hell should a pensioner get a price reduction, its not fair. The onus for financial success on a match day is now in the hands of those working people who take advantage of the corporate dining packages or sit in the Neil Fox stand, you never hear them moaning. Just wait to the cheapskate pensioners, North and West standers have to put their hands in their pockets to buy a cup ticket, you can already hear the miserly tightwads complaining.'"
Hey bct!!! I'm a pensioner and I've paid my way. I made sure I paid my 6d (2.5p) to Trinity every fortnight back in the Fifties!!!
