Ideally Dave Tanivalu would have been in so Kaye could interchange at 9 but I think the above is good enough to go to Wigan and challenge for the 2 points!
Ashurst/Pitts/Crowther/Whitbread/Battye/hood/TJ/Lyne hopefully all fully charged for KR! And hopefully Fifita!'"
Why him and not Murphy?

Murphy is a left winger. Has always played left wing even in reserves and academy. He played one match at right wing vs Leeds and had a bit of a mare (though admittedly had a forward inside him).
JD has been training and playing right wing so I just thought it would make sense. Plus Murphy will play left wing surely??

Makes sense.
I haven't seen JD play really so not sure if he's ready.
Willie must think the experience of Minns is better for the Wigan game.

Probably so. Though I think Minns is a centre so it looks like Kaye and Murphy wingers.
I’ve not seen much of JD but if he can’t get a game over Easter and with Lineham out im not sure we will see him feature at all this season.

| The way we play with poor commitment it doesn't really matter who plays + we simply cannot cope with high intensity rugby !
That is the truth no matter how it hurts to be a realist, however optimist in me hopes we try to play !
Saints showed how you deal with Wigan & their flyers !

If Kay is on the wing, who is going to be hooker? Harry B can't do the full 80.

Think your being a tad unfair TrinTrin ,we came out of the saints game better than Wigan if only by a small margin , which to my mind shows when we are committed and put the effort in we can at least compete with the big boys . Our problem and one which has haunted us for a long long time is consistency ,we can match and beat anyone on our day ,but those days aren’t nearly as often as they should be .

Most likely Walker can do a spell for 10/15 minutes after HT. Bowes I’m sure can do a good 60/65 mins. He’s a young fit lad.
There’s options. We only have two wingers in the team but I guess we will see soon enough what Poching goes within

Yep I’m afraid it’s the Trinity way. When or if that changes we will know we’ve finally graduated from the also rans.
I understand why we are where we are but my god it’s getting tedious. Especially the Cas bit which has now gone way beyond a joke.

Very tedious. I hope the ground works open up more opportunity to build a team we can challenge the playoffs regularly with.

I hope it does too TH but what we really need is a serious investor to build on the hard work done by MC and co. Are we the only team in SL who lacks a sugar daddy?
I totally agree that homegrown players are the nucleus of a future team, but wouldn't it be nice to compliment them with one or two players the likes of which we can only dream of.
I'm afraid without such investment we will never challenge the top half of the table seriously.

With the lack of an investor I think the club are absolutely doing the right thing investing in youth. The issue with that is it’s long term and will only come to fruition in 3-5 years time when the promising 17/18/19 year olds are in their early to mid 20s.
