Not many.
It’s been a mixed bag for Tom v Cas. One great try..
When Cas are on form they make all opposing wingers look bad, the way they shift the ball wide is text book and I hate to say a joy to watch.
What baffles me is why people think Cas are there for the taking, I see no obvious signs of that. The Wembley thing is nonsense it’s miles off. The Leeds score was a freak.
If you ask me Cas will be more dangerous and desperate than ever, they will be expecting to win this game.

Unless I've missed your point what the heck are you on about?'" solomona gave him a torrid time for a couple of seasons but I think I’m right in saying TJ was playing on the right wing and all cas attack went through Gale to him. Think he got a few hat tricks against him

Solomona made a mug out every winger in the comp during the season and broke the record.

Solomona was an excellent winger but almost any winger would look excellent with the service he received. Imagine how many hat tricks Tom would have scored with that kind of service, more than Solomona I suspect.

| Well to counter some of the above I`m not expecting too much from Johnstone in this game, he hasn't played in coming up 3 months and lets not forget for a majority of that he wasn`t able to do any sort of training at all.
That said, TJ surprises me every time and I am sure he probably will this time as well and do something absolutely ridiculous however he may take a few games to get back into his groove and that`s okay.

Come off it, officials get it wrong, sometimes they have bad games but I don`t genuinely think they have bias towards any team, sometimes it may seem that way when a few calls go against your team but if you went back and watched the game as a neutral you would probably have a different opinion on it, in fact I know you would.
Lets not concentrate on who the refs are, lets concentrate on not letting it be influenced by 1 or 2 bad calls.

Exactly this. Eden was top try scorer by doing the same thing, stand on your touchline and put the ball over the line. The movement inside creating the overlap was where the best work was done. Its Powell's set play, choreographed and practiced until it looks easy. Great coaching.
Unless we have done our homework and watched the videos it will cost us 3 tries again, as it has every time we have played them for the last few years.

Yep, it does seem to be a lesson we stubbornly fail to learn from. True it's not as easy as it sounds but we've made it even harder.

Yeah and it's not only us.
It doesn't seem to matter who is playing in the halves, at FB or centre, they set up just the same and execute very well.
Even if we are right on our game, you would expect one and maybe two tries to come down that side.
Lyne and Kaye, will need to have a good game, with plenty of help form their inside.

I was thinking about the right wing and I’d probably stick with Kershaw. Kay has played on the left wing for the past month and Kershaw and Lyne have been quite solid on that side so I think I’d stick to that for this one for continuity.
I’d be happy for Kay or Kershaw though. No reason we couldn’t alternate between the two.
Cas like the cut out ball (especially Richardson) on the left. We need to be careful not to shoot in too much and leave the edges exposed.
I hope we can extend our home game win streak to 4. BV will become a bit of a fortress if so. Time to roll the sleeves up and take the 2 points.

Whilst I don't completely disagree with you, I'd suggest watching Chris Kendall reffing against us and tell me he doesn't appear biased. It may not be a conscious effort on his part (ie cheating) but it's definitely there.

I think biased is the wrong word, he's 'weak' and sees us as a 'lesser' team, so when confused or unsure he defers to what he see's as the 'greater' team and he's not the only ref who does that.
I don't think it's a coincidence that when we were building a reputation as a top 8 side 2017-2019 we were subjected to far less dubious reffing than now, It only seemed to seep back when we started to slide in 2019. In fairness that was partly because we were noticing it again as it was now costing us dear but I do agree that we are again copping some unfortunate decisions, especially from this Ref.

If I was short sighted I could become a referee!: |
|
| Would you stick with Brad Walker to rotate with kyle Wood or revert back to Crowther. Personally can't make my mind up. Walker has good hands and is more creative but Crowther is a better defender which could be important tonight.?

I like JC but he is neither a hooker nor a better player than Walker in that role, I can't see any logical reason why we would revert back to a formation that wasn't working.
