I’m in my 70s, I have older relatives, young grandchildren, but past events have shown me no one knows When a loved one will be taken.'"
I'm sure i read a post where you said your wife had underlying health issues, if that's the case and I'm certainly not doubting you the I'm sure you'll agree that the NHS were overwhelmed well before covid19.

The statistics / facts are all out there now for anybody to look up.'" I viewed The Spectator as you requested I'd have to question how the flu shows little deviation in the peak period where the country was in lockdown surly it should of shown at least some movement, also if the facts are true is making it more easily passed on even in lockdown which is bazaar.
journalists look to sell their stories and there's many buy into them I'd rather listen to professionals who offer advice for free than someone who questions these professionals, we both agree that both the common flu and covid 19 has been destructive and while the upward curve is climbing the death rate is keeping low, that to me is the key to getting back to normality, if that means the we have to take more protection then so be it.

Yes she does, and to cap it all she had a TIA in May when things were becoming critical with the virus, I called 111, straight away, explained the situation, sent me an ambulance immediately, and told me in future to call 999 if this happened again. She was taken to hospital that night for further tests, but I wasn’t allowed to go because of the virus, that was a scary moment. She’s well again, and now ventures out for a meal, shopping now and again, but takes all the precautions masks ,sanitisers etc, she wouldn’t do that before the TIA. She says “I’ve as much chance of dying at home as I have going out.”none of us know when our time is up.

I was admitted into Barnsley General at the back end of last year with pneumonia and within 24 hours was fighting for me life in intensive care with Bi-lateral pneumonia, while I was in there for 6 days I developed severe heart and respiritory problems which resulted in a further 9 days in the coronary care unit which did not do a great deal for my diabetes either, I'm still waiting for a pacemaker to be fitted as well as further tests on my chest to see what other damage there is beside the copd which had been diagnosed, like many of those unfortunate people that have already gone I doubt it will be covid19 that does for me but the lack of opportunity to get my problems sorted out in hospital because everything's on hold atm, there's more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding up our lane on shergar than even seeing me local GP.

That puts paid to fans watching RL, live etc. Heavy fines will follow by way of enforcement !
However, we will witness selfish people still breaking rules & of course the nutters that don't want to believe about Coved19.
How can anyone think it's a conspiracy theory when all countries in the world are affected & are actively trying to beat this virus ?
Onwards & upwards to all of us, stay safe my friends, signed Trin, Trin.'"
Here is your answer..TrinTrin As I pointed out in the previous covid discussions months ago.
At a virtual World Economic Forum meeting, global leaders from the United Nations, United Kingdom, United States, International Monetary Fund and multi-national corporations discussed and announced a plan to develop a “Great Reset” of the entire world.
“Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” Schwab added. “In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
PS They were discussing...wait for it.........covid-19.
Schwab is the World Economic Forum’s website, WEF founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.

Hi Pop Tart...sorry it's only me and not your Lord and master Boris or your saviour in covid Matt Hancock.
So 2,013 views and no one but me prepared to discuss the re opening of Belle Vue with an attendance level needed to sustain the club. Is it the elephant in the room as I mentioned in a previous post i.e. INFLUENZA and the rest that's stumped a few of you and the reason for the silence. If so, that's maybe a good thing.
Unfortunately the enablers of this lunacy on here and out there have backed themselves into a corner with, as I see it, no way out. Are you listening Mr Carter with your messages to “stay home” and the cashing in with those dreadful masks.
If I'm wrong then it's no big deal. If the enablers are wrong then it's going to be a heavy price future generations are going to pay, all for nothing. Hope you can live with yourselves.
History will no doubt show that covid was no worse than influenza, assuming it wasn't influenza all along and look just what has been destroyed.
Anyhoo,
Think I may go to the pub tomorrow, just need to buy a smartphone, follow the arrows on the one way system, sign in, gell my hands for twenty seconds, download the app, sit at the designated table, wait for the server in his / her mask and visor and rubber gloves, remember to keep my fiver in my pocket and go cashless. Flamin heck, I only intend buying a pint and a bag o nuts. What's this ???? Only one customer at a time allowed in the bogs?
Think I would rather risk catching the flu at Belle Vue.
Night all.

Is that so hard to do to make sure everyone is safe, even if it's just flu?
I already have a smart phone. I am smart enough to follow the in and out arrows, washing my hands seems sensible anyway. The designated table means I know I'll get one. If the server wears a mask it.doesnt hurt me in any way, I like paying with a card and I can go to the toilet before I go out. And I'm ok leaving my number for track and trace. Don't need the app.

Not quite as much close contact as 26 people on a rugby pitch though? There's a list of exempt outdoor activities and sports somewhere.

Ah Pop Tart, the gift that keeps on giving.
Leaves the car at home......”small price to pay to keep everyone safe.”
Starts a campaign to ban all contact sports. ”small price to pay to keep everyone safe.”
Never ever uses plastic..”small price to pay to keep everyone (and fish) safe.”
Never eats fish..””small price to pay to keep our fishermen safe.”
Has always worn a mask, social distanced and locked himself down since at least leaving school,
”small price to pay to keep everyone safe....from flu”
Never travels in an aeroplane ”small price to pay to keep everyone safe.”
And avoideds discussing the future of Belle Vue ”small price to pay to keep his head in the sand.”
Ps I was born and raised in pubs, great memories. Your vision for pubs sounds an absolute nightmare in comparison. Still "if it keeps...............

Is that meant to be a dig at me? You need to try harder I'm afraid.
I drive everywhere but I am unleaded and might go electric one day
I love contact sports. Played and watched
Plastic is important for keeping food fresh but I try to use reusable bags and recycle
I love fish
I wear a mask and social distance.... Seems easy enough
I've flown hundreds of times. Needed to travel internationally with my job. Not now though.
Belle Vue.....? I'm not even sure what your point is there.
But at the moment it's a small price to pay to be careful.
Can you explain why its a hardship to you to wear a mask and social distance?
