Plenty of clubs shop players around mid contract, it`s not uncommon, in fact you see it all the time.

I read your question over a few times. Even Leigh haven't been able to do easily what you are suggesting. Just seemed a daft (which I think is nice non confrontational term) hypothesis. A hint of Trolling maybe???
