The key word was potentially.
Every player has the potential to play or, not to play.
The reality is that Hull will have a few more missing from their strongest 17 than Wakefield (I hope )

| Whoever they put out will be a capable side, the won't be just rolled over.
Its not gonna be that easy to homework up on everyone, they're not all seasoned players with a wealth of previous to study, in that respect there'll be an unknown factor.
Unknown factors can turn round and bite you on the 4r5e sometimes.
I expect us to be well prepared for it, nobody....the players, the staff, the fans, NOOOOOBODY wants to go to a last do or die game at Shudds.

I can see some pretty decent odds to take a big stake for a Hull win. Will soften the blow a bit if we fail but ideally I'll enjoy losing the cash.

| Regarding Connor, I find it very interesting who the original poster on the Connor thread on the Hull board is:

| I would have thought that Hull FC would try to get their injured players back and fit for the top 8 playoffs. No point trying to get them back too soon, a fully fit Hull squad will stand a chance of getting to the Grand Final.

that's a good point well made.
I cant see them finishing lower than 5th, as it would require one of Us/Hudd/Catalans to win both games and them to lose both theirs to overtake them......

Good plan in theory. Unfortunately we (Hull) could be 9 points behind 4th place if we live se on Sunday and the final regular season round.

Hull FC simply cannot get into the top 4, with 2 rounds to go they are 5 points behind Warrinton who are currently in 4th position.
They are though, guaranteed a top 8 position,i can't see them finishing lower than sixth, there is no chance of Hull finishing in the middle eights.
So to me, and if i was the coach of Hull FC, i would be concentrating on getting as many of the first team squad back for top 8 play offs.
With a fully fit squad they would be better putting all their energy into the top 8 play off & i think Hull would have every chance of getting to the final.

Everyone wants their players fit for the play offs and semi finals.
However, Hull and the rest of us, have little chance of catching the current top 4.
Maybe, they could just about scrape 4th but, they will need to win the majority of their remaining games, including the game on Sunday to have any chance of this.
With points on the board carrying over, a win against Wakefield is just as valuable as beating Saints, well nearly.
With the injuries they already have, I cant see FC making too much of an impact in the playoffs and I hope that they think the same and dont risk any players who may be carrying a knock

Hull (or any other team for that matter) need to be in the top 4 after another 9 games, hence why every games counts.
If we start the 8's needing a team to slip up in 5 out of 7 games, then the season is done!

Why do you find that interesting? I started a thread stating I thought England looked better with him on the field and wondered if they saw him as Sneyd`s long term half partner? Not too sure why that is of great interest to you.
