The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for an area including Wakefield covering the period 4pm tomorrow until 9am on Sunday morning. The heavy snow is forecast to start around midnight tonight a and continued heavy bursts of snow throughout tomorrow. Even if the pitch is protected it might be difficult travelling to the ground and keeping areas clear and safe.
