My favourite Michael Jackson moment was when he made his GB debut. BBC TV covered the match live and the Wigan coach of the time (I think it was John Monie) was co-commentator and he criticised MJ throughout the entire match. Then at the end of the match they announced in the ground who was man of the match, guess what it was of course Michael Jackson! I laughed a lot and thought that even then it reflected the anti-Wakefield bias in the media even though the bias was contrary to reality.

Didn't he get an injury on GB duty that was never properly treated? Seem to remember he wasn't quite teh same player afterwards.

Ftr he played 13 games for us last season. Can't remember if he could have played more due to any injuries mind or that's what CC picked him for. CC seemed to bring him to the team as the season got on, to freshen up the side a bit and to be fair to him he did do his job.
