We're relying on Salford not to get their points back, because that would make things interesting. When we lose as we have been (Hudderfield matches aside) we relied on othetresults to go our way. Where we are we are on merit I'll give you that, where we finish is more likely depend on others though.

If you watched the sky try clips, the problem is the camera is behind the play. I was in the north stand so in front of the play and I thought it definitely went forward from Amor

But looking at it that way every team has to rely on others to beat teams for instance if we didn't beat Wigan at home they would be top and not hull so does that mean hull have relied on us for them to be top? No.

Must admit that Saints did resort to unsporting tactics today, and Wilkins should be ashamed of himself. I bet they don't show it on Super League Show tomorrow if he is guest "Expert". Shame really because historically I always admired their open style of play. May be because of their close proximity to Wigan that they've started using questionable tactics. By the way, Child & Cobb should be looking for new jobs tomorrow!!!!

My point is, other teams seem to be taking their fates into their own hands, we don't seem to be. With Catalans and Wigan away and Cas at home I can't see anything other than three loses. It means that we probably will depend more on other results than any other team.

Hmm. He gets over the line before being pushed back into the field of play but you can't tell if the ball is grounded. I imagine it will have been but can't say 100%.

Yeah it did. People can call out the referee again if they wish but he didn't keep dropping the ball or missing the tackles. We were not good enough today, deal with it. Start crossing the fingers that salfords appeal fails. Middle 8's otherwise.

Which other teams? The only team around us that have done anything recently is Widnes, where they've won 3 out of their last 5 and are on the same points as us. But considering the start they had, they should have had the top 8 sorted some time ago. Cas have ballsed it up for themselves the last 3 games as well. Leeds are out of it and Hull KR, Salford, Hudds would need results to go their way, even if one of them managed to win all their remaining games, which I can't see tbh. Salford have won 1 of their last 4 as well. Just about all teams have benefited off the backs of others buggering up, whether at the top, middle or bottom.

Obviously it's massively frustrating as hell we haven't got the win we needed, especially today where a bit of composure in their half would have won us it but ateotd fate is still in our hands with 3 games left.

Salford's points thing is the main thing that needs sorting. I've said it before, I'd be amazed if they got all their points back, especially if it's left to MK to explain the ins and outs of RFL procedure, which he seems clueless on.

1 team out of 4 (leeds) cant catch us - next week it will be defo 2 possibly 3

cant see us wining any of 3 games left- ever since the Catalans win on Magic Weekend our performance especially defensively have been terrible

I also see though us getting 8th on 18 points

i though ST helens today were one of the most un-sporting teams i have seen at Belle Vue, constantly throwing the ball away at scrums, unsporting behavior from wilkins (including the above) and others just made me dislike the team as a whole.
we have had teams that have been dirty and have won by dirty tactics, but today it was just un-sportsmanlike'"
