I'd have thought A Tuou's injured otherwise he'd be playing. Can't imagine looking at that squad he'd be left out considering his quality and experience and the fact both our Captain and Vice are injured. We obviously look light in the go forward department. Hopefully Fifita shows us all what he's about this games and has a blinder.
Hard tie made even harder with the key players missing. They'll all have to play at their absolute best to win. Get off to a good start and some excellent discipline's needed.

| We played our best with a back line of Jowett, BJB, Arundal, Hall and Johnson. I find it hard to understand the omission of Hall, we need our best regardless of who are leaving or not. It is folly to weaken the team for the sake of what might be next season.

My thoughts exactly. But instead we get Bill Tupou, who has a record of one try and one assist since he arrived at the club. Young Tom Johnstone must be wishing he had gone to Wigan where he may have seen the ball once in a while. Was scoring for fun when paired up with Arundel or Hall, not a sniff since.

| Don't you think it's more of a case of loosing 3 out of 4 and the team being outplayed rather than blame Bill Tupou.

| I kknow what people are getting at with Tupou.
He just doesnt have the creative instincts to make it as a centre. He doesnt have the killer pass that is required.
Due to this with the squad selected i would go with Lyne in the centres.
With Tupou I have said it before and will again. He could become a good player for us on the wing if hes given a run in the side there.

| Bill Tupou is just a crash it up player, which is good but he has zero ` rugby ` ability in him by which I mean he can`t pass, he has no idea when to pass, 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 plays are wrecked when he has the ball, he should not be anywhere near the centre position. He is a very tough, brave , hard player and what he lacks in size he makes up for in spirit, I would play him from the bench as a sub forward and just have him cart the ball up, he would be a lot more effective than the two big soft girls blouses Anderson and Fatfeeti.
Anthony Tupou is finished, been a great player but to me his body has had enough.

| Think Lynne and Arundel should be the centres tomorrow from the squad chosen...

| I would go with
Jowitt
Johnstone
Arundel
Lyne
Jones Bishop
Miller
Finn
Anderson
Moore
England
Ashurst
Molloy
Annakin
Sio
B Tupou
Fatifa
Arona
Bill Tupou to just edge out Howarth, as he could fill backs and second row.
Also Sio can cover hooker and back row, and has a little more pace

Howarth work rate is massive and I like Sio at loose forward for some of the time too. If it's heavy weather I'd put Annakin instead of Tupou.

Howarth for me is a very lucky he's still in SL. He does try hard I'll give him that but putting a couple of big hits in now and again doesn't warrant a place anywhere near the 19.......unless we are desperate. He certainly shouldn't playing 9, too slow and undecided and never attacks unless we are 1 metre away from the line. His skill levels just aren't there and by now they never will be.
