Me and the missus were the scoreboard operators in the '80s and had the dubious pleasure of putting the score of Wigan 72 Wakefield 0 on the scoreboard at the south end of the ground at that time (can't remember the exact year, but no doubt someone will come along soon who does remember ??).
I am finally pleased to say that almost 30 years later we have finally avenged that defeat

I think the transformation of this side in the space of a couple of weeks is amazing really.

From a side that had scored 2 tries in 160 minutes of rugby league, to scoring 26 in 4 games, not to mention the defence.

I am trying to stay and remain grounded though given that we have played some under strength sides. We can though only play what is in front of us.

We have got a tough few weeks ahead of us with Hull and Warrington at home. Would love to be still in the running with a comfortable cushion points wise, come magic weekend.

I would be very tempted to rest a few for the Sheffield game, and give some of the other squad a run out such as Hall, Owen, Howarth etc, to make sure our core squad remain fit
