Talking to certain person last night and he said Locke trained well yesterday, looking quick and enjoying it.I know it's early days, but you know what they say, form is temporally ,class is for ever.......and it wasn't Jordan that told me
Locke appears to be one of the highest profile import signings for a number of years....who in the past compares in terms of class? Obviously Wally Lewis is on the list but I'm trying to think of previous world class players that have put on the red, white and blue?
As for the above New Zealand article playing for struggling Wakefield Trinity didn't harm the future prospects of Wally Lewis, Ben Westwood, Gareth Ellis et al did it? They've ignored the fact that one of the most successful coaches of the last 30 years both in NRL and SL is the coach at Trinity. This will have influenced Locke's decision as well as playing against Salford his former club who could be relegated instead of Trinity?
