Historically yes at Wakefield no but why the latter you will need to ask those in charge. I doubt it would be down to one game at Bradford which many quote, if that was the criteria we would not have any players to select from because all will have had bad games in the past.

For what it's worth and just my opinion but I feel the problem with Sammut is much more than Rugby related. The slate could have been wiped clean numerous times from a playing point of view…….think there's a lot more to it and that's why we are not hearing a thing. Time to move on I think.

What fans think is irrelevant. Agar, Webster, Dickins and now Smith have had the option to play Sammut regularly and they chose not to. The clubs he has featured for over here have tended to be the ones that have struggled and despite being a free agent he has sign for Workington. Whilst on his day he has a talent on a maverick sort of way, his abilities are being somewhat over egged by some.

Didn't Webster tell Sammut he could put out the reasons for not being played into the public domain if he wanted. Sammut chose not to.

Didn't want to play against Bradford when he signed for us.
Registration won't be sorted out for him to play against Bradford for Workington.
That to me tells you all you need to know about a player that tries to be bigger than the club and look where it put Bradford.

His signing has to be one of the strangest and most ridiculous we have ever made. So many things have been said as to why his face didn't fit basically, I think both parties are to blame, but for the life of me I can't understand why he stayed here for as long as he did, surely something could have been done sooner than just last week. For whatever reason Webster basically told him he wouldn't be picked, then told him he could make the reason public, but chose not to?! So then he was forced to select him on the odd occasion because we had no one else, so how can you expect someone to perform after all that had been said before? Very strange.....

His signing was done to weaken Bradford, not strengthen Wakefield.

If you think our chairman would dig in to his pocket to obtain a player to stop him playing for the bulls your crazy.

Then he had the temerity to refuse to put any effort in against his former employees - such a consummate professional.
