| Strange one for me as Mathers and Moore showed more worth for new deals going on their efforts and performances last season. But we obviously need wingers. Owen looked alright at times and scored some tries, just seemed to find himself in the wrong position too often, defensively. Hopefully he'll kick on next season as he could go well for us.

If we are relying on Gilmour then we are in a much worse situation than even I believe.

| Lynne and Collis for me in the centres. As long as they stay fit we'll be ok and Matt Ryan is great cover if not rather than Lee Gilmour. Ryan competing with Ashurst for the starting second row slot will be interesting.

At this moment that's how I see it. Be interesting to see what loans we'll go for and how many.

| Can't see how Owen earned himself a 1 year deal let alone 3 with his performances last year! We've le players who had better a better season go and we remain a centre short! Similar pattern emerges at wakefield no matter who the coach is!

| I undersatnd that Owen is from Lupset and that he has always had an interest in social economics. He was aware that Lupset is regarded by many as a ` sink estate `, an enclave for the bleak, unwashed underclass and felt that this impression was unfair. He was interested in understanding the breakdown of society and the undermining of traditional working class values witnessed by our district under the never ending leadership and management of successive Labour councils. As a younger man he heard that there was an area in the district called Castleford that made Lupset look like paradise, indeed Lupset mothers often threatened naughty children with a visit to Castleford unless they behaved. Purely to educate himself so that he could later become an leading expert on the breakdown of Society he signed for Cas. Sadly like many, he was unable to see out the full term of his contract in Cas and had to return to Wakey in order to retain his sanity. It was felt that Cas way of life was having negative effect on his behaviour, behaviour that in Cas is seen as normal and acceptable. The experts at Pinderfields believe that Owen will make a successful return to civilisation once he has spent a full pre season at Wakey.

| Quote: Fordy "Bit of a character assassination there. Whilst I would agree he doesn't always look like he is up for it, I think to say he only put effort in in two games is just rubbish.
You suggest loaning a better winger and saving cash - perhaps you can actually name someone better who we could have loaned for less cash (will be interesting to see as I'm pretty sure you have absolutely no idea a) how much Owen's contract is worth and b) how much it would cost us to pay someone else's loan fee). You are great at identifying problems but never offer any viable solution.
Is there a reason that you have to have someone to pick on each year? Are you jealous that people get to play rugby for a living whilst you have to "work" for your immense salary?? I don't know you personally and I can honestly say I have no desire to ever meet you as you come across as rather a vile individual.'"
I suggest
a. Go to Fiji get someone in there league that would be miles better than Owen.
b. I suggest you should go to the games did you watch Hull KR and Huddersfield games? I would guess no. We had a player that refused to sprint, look lively, take the ball in and tackle! Oh and couldnt be bothad catching a ball in the warm up.
I would rather have a tramps vest running down the wing as there is more life in it
