It probably would but sadly I doubt it would be passed and this is nothing to do with my point I was making.
If you think we had objections at Newmarket it would be nothing compared to what we would encounter at the park.

Still is a perfect place for stadium. That was another wasted stadium opportunity and valuable time wasted by WMDC

Wakefield finished rock bottom of a survey of the UKs biggest City's in terms of sporting facilities per capita, that's a huge embarassment to WMDC and requires rectifying.'"
That is absoutely shocking and anyone that votes this lot in again want their head testing. The quicker Box buggers off, the better the City of Wakefield will be.
As for Cas' ground, couldn't give a monkeys.

Noticed in the express the other week locals were moaning about housing been built on the college site where the stadium was due to be built. A stadium and 3G pitches would be brilliant for Wakefield park. Park for all, stadium for all.

But it won't be - nobody gives a damn, largely because they haven't got a clue about the community facilities aspect of the development; it has always been badged as a new stadium for WTW and that's how the majority of people see it - hence, they'll shrug and say 'hard luck Wakey - again.'

Probably because even a monkey wearing a red rosette would show more compassion than some one wearing a blue rosette.

Not just the Wakey express, the national media should be kicking up a huge stink over this. WTW have been blatantly ripped off. Maybe negotiations are still at a delicate stage and people are holding back a little while ever there is some hope left.

I'm going back a while and can't be sure of the words but didn't Ted make an announcement on the pitch that said it wouldn't be for all ?

Sadly this is spot on. Especially given some of the other issues in the area where childrens centres are closing left right and centre, the market hall being pulled down, the roads crumbling under the wheels etc, then Wakefield Trinity and its 3500-4000 regular fans getting a shiny new stadium will be way down the list of peoples priorities i'm afraid.
