| Yes I gather that is being trotted out by quite a few people. The club will play anywhere that is fit for purpose and is a reasonable proposition to the fans. At the last meeting it was my suggestion that there is actually nothing stopping the developer from gifting the original site to the stadium trust. This would give the trust an appropriate asset. Whether that happens remains to be seen.

22151_1298059614.jpg LOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATION IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

| I've resisted posting on this subject because quite understandably people want answers and when we say that we can't reveal what we are doing people think we are either stalling or deliberately withholding information.
You've seen posts from TRB, jack in the box and Daddy cool in this thread so its not difficult to piece together where we are and whats gone on.
Rest assured that the Supporters Trust, SWAG, the Club and members of the Stadium Trust are working together, and very hard on this but we have to get facts, timing etc. to all come together and that will ultimately determine what course of action we take. We are all looking to meet next week and discuss our strategy. There are things going on as we speak but we cannot mention them on a public forum.
Can I please appeal to you all to be patient with us, trust us and I can guarantee to you all that we are all working together to try and get the best possible outcome for Wakefield Trinity and the Citizens of Wakefield. I cannot guarantee a 100% successful outcome but I can guarantee that we are giving this 100% of our efforts.
I fear this is going to blow up big time and if that's what it comes to then so be it. All I ask is please trust us and get behind us and support us if or when the brown stuff hits the fan because we will need you. We are all going to be in this together.
By the way I'm the Guy who TRB refers to at the guy who will "die in a ditch" before letting this go and I mean it and I know that's a view shared by everyone of us.

At the end of the day there is only one man who will decide anything and that's the King Rat himself.
Have you had any dealings with Mr Box yet

I imagine in their minds there is, the chance to somewhere down the line make plenty of ££££ out of it. It is all they are interested in.

I'm very surprised that the WE at least haven't been running some kind of story on this.
Radio Yorkshire (who often post on here) should also be interested.'"
It's not yet time for this. It may not be long in coming though!

| I know i'm a cas fan but i've always taken an interest in Newmarket and i always thought it was too good to be true. However when the proposed upgrade of belle vue came to light i thought it seemed ideal and i really hoped it would come off for you. Rivalry apart its gone too far now and i just hope you come out of all this with a positive result. Chins up and best of luck.

| I am highly suspicious of the role played in this debacle by the Castleford based council 'mafia' who together seem to wield far more power generally on the council than elected council members representing other areas of Wakefield Met.

Given the fact that part of Balls constituency is Morley, so Leeds based, and they have been against the development from day one (and he is friendly with Clr Wakefield), the fact that his wife Cas MP Yvette Cooper is pushing for the Cas development (the same one Boxy really wants) and also bearing in mind that in his position as shadow chancellor he is fully committed to helping new business and industry get developed as part of his election policy for economic growth, then no probably not.
Thats even if the correspondence gets past his pa in the first place. He might I suppose pay it lip service at best if it does.
