| Damm I forgot about Annakin. You could put Tautai back at prop or have Annakin at 2nd row. Tautai I would give a go at loose he is capable of making a break and can offload when people wake up and be wise to him. Agar now as 2 week to sort something out. Sick of the gelling excuse. Do something on the training pitch you MUPPET!

| Quote: RealSteel89 "Sammut to stay at fullback for me. Siejka and Godinet in the halves. Sykes as cover for 1,3,4,6 and not in the 17 unless we have injuries. Mcshane starting and Wildie on the bench. Don't see the need for a specialist 13 or in our case washbrook, would play one of the second rowers there. So start with Walshaw, Ryan and Kirmo. With Annakin, Wildie and 2 props. Or we could play Mr T as a loose forward if all props are fit.'"
What form has Siejka shown to justify him as the main pivot/play maker in the team?
Sammut and Godinet have been the most creative pivots in the team so far this season. We need a strong elusive runner who can take the high ball at full back and for me Sammut can give much more than that by managing our game and directing the team around the park.
Sykes could hopefully do a job back there at full back if not then its a choice between Mathers/Riley/Siejka/Jowitt

To be fair to the lad he's only started the last couple, and that was against the team sitting 2nd in the league and last years league winners......contrast that to the two games everyone keeps going on about with the pairing of Sammut and Godinet....against London who have lost 10/10....and Catalans who probably gave the most shambolic team perfomance that day I can remember!
Lets not forget either that the golden pairing of Sammut/Godinet were together in the 6-60 defeat to Leeds in the cup....
Sammut switching to full back I think has worked and gives us a better option there than an out of sorts Mathers....Siejka certainly has the pedigree and for me has shown glimpses that he could be a real decent player for us....like all players with his background though he will need time.....the more he trains and the more he plays the better he will become for me....don't just ditch him now because he aint pulled trees up the last twice against quality opposition......
For me the 1,6, 7 for Hull should be Sammut, Siejka, Godinet....

| The games I have seen Fox puts his body on the line each time he plays, especially taking the ball up. How long do you seriously expect the young players would survive they are just not physically ready for week in and week out rugby.

Not suggesting Siejka should be ditched but that he be the bench utility option. Let's give Wildie a chance as back up hooker to McShane then if Siejka is now a 6!
To be honest the only pedigree a Siejka has is an ex Aussie school boy whereas Godinet has played well in the World Cup and played a number of NRL standard games.
Hope I'm wrong but it's a real gamble playing him at 6 when he hasn't played for 12 months and even then couldn't hold down a first grade place. Just look at where the spark comes from in the team and it's mainly a Godinet and Sammut. Siejka appeared directionless the other day. Is Sammut really a full back?

| The thing with Siejka that has been mentioned, is, he has not played for a few months before he eventually came over.
Where as Wildie is up to speed on what's going on at the club.
When we got Sammut should have backed out of signing Siejka but have we signed him just to stop London or the Bulls picking him up.
Siejka is adding to the confusion as someone mentioned and RA has a squad of players he probably didn't expect to have and doesn't know how to use them to their best potential.

| When things are not going very well the first person to take the collective blame is the coach.
When things are going well the first people to take the credit are the players.
.
Can this be right?
The coach can only coach with the talent at his disposal.
Some times things go right sometime wrong but what I am sure of is that( the coach) will be making those decisions with the knowledge of the individual players at his disposal injuries, form, attitude in training etc.
Many of these things the average fan cant know but often judge on.
So back to the current position agar had a team stripped from him sold! am sure that given a choice would have retained many if not all to build on.
At the time he could have decided to leave but in turn stayed with an extended contract probably the carrot to keep him a decision made with the agreement of the current board.
No comment from then at this time despite having an opinion on everything else.
I am positive agar must have know the difficulties that would beset the team this year and know the amount of criticism that would inevitably fall on the lads shoulders yet he did what perhaps we should all look at doing that is support the club and team he his working for.
After all what is a fan someone who loves his club?
And what is a club?
is it a ground?
is it a individual player?
is it the board?
is it a coach?
is it your fellow fans?
What is it ? well to me its everyone pulling together for better or worse to support an enterty that we all call our club for better or for worse it says in marrage well we are married to our club can we all not be together?
I am not saying we don't have the right of an opinion but if we are to stay in super league.
Have the courage to target individual games for the two points its results that will count.
Fans realise we are going to get dumped on and big scores and try and be restrained in criticism.
Lets all have the strength together to fight for this great club and keep in where it has never been relegated from.
super league.
When that is achieved put this down as one of our great years.
