Not wishing to extend his debate too long,but if you want to do research... Genuine research... Find a way to gather evidence which enables you to develop a hypothesis based on your own reason and intellect... Then present that hypothesis with a justifiable argument based on your research...
I have met people who believe Dr Who is real... But I don't present their thoughts and beliefs as research.
