| Quote: sixtogo "I already avoid those events due to previous issues with the RFL's governence, failure to operate a fair and even set of rules on this one will be me done and i'm afraid if that impacts on Wakey then so be it. They will be taking part in a game i wouldn't want to be a part of anymore. And anyway they showed their hand by jumping into bed with the RFL over the restructuring which still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. But this Bradford issue is the ultimate test of what values the game has.'"
From what I have seen & read in last month re farce that is new structure, Sky deal & this with Bradford Bulls the game has no values.

| If the bulls are able to come out the other side with their squad in tact and no demotion or 6 point penalty the current RFL board have no credibility. I won't stop supporting Wakey but this whole situation stinks and can't see us being allowed to do the same

If you like continuing to pay money to watch a corrupt sport then good for you, I doff my cap to you. I'll be spending my hard earned elsewhere.'"
I think all sport is corrupt now due to the increased amounts of money involved.

| Quote: Slugger McBatt "But is it a RFL-backed way of forcing the transfer because OK was not abiding by agreed terms? I just wonder whether it was a tactical move to effect a transfer at loggerheads rather than actually running into admin.
Part of me feels aggrieved but part of me thinks it might be a legal way of achieving something that otherwise couldn't be done. Was it just a way of getting rid of OK?
I think its different to our admin. What I don't know is how different it is to our situation in November, which is perhaps the real question.'"
But the RFL approved ok to own the bulls, why should they now see fit to meddle once again?
They WERE the owners at the time of administration that should be a four or six point deduction for the bulls no matter who took over or when.

| I don't care how it has been done, they have gone into admin and clear precedents have been set for clubs doing that. Bradford should not be immune because of some perception they are iconic, which let's be honest hasn't been the case since they stopped winning stuff!

The elephant in the room is the HMRC winding up petition. The spin is that administration was used as a mechanism to transfer the club to new owners yet it just so happens to occur when OK Bulls have been issued. I guess we'll never know if the liabilities of OK Bulls will be paid by Bradford Bulls 2014 ltd.

| To me, and I am very much ignorant on this topic, this seems very "underhand".
Where was the RFL helping WTW???
This, to me, is an absolute disgrace to the work MC and his staff have done within your business.
A guy comes in and makes massive decisions, albet the right ones and damaging ones, to get the ship afloat above board and in the right way, and the club is rebuilding itself.
The way this has been handled by the powers that be suggests that bradford are being rewarded (i.e. not having to cost-cut) by going slyly round the rules.
It will be interesting to hear what piffle us dumb fans will have to digest over the coming weeks for this to be feebly justified.
I actually feel sorry for the Bulls fans. OK in the short term this is a big positive, but their club's credibility is shot to by this, and getting piggy-backed by the RFL is completely unfair to the teams, such as yourselves, who would've been more likely to receive a kicking whilst you were down.
The Bulls fans will have to spend another few years coughing up their hard earned money for their beloved club to be badly run and their money frivelously spent, until this palava inevitably happens again...
I can't speyk.
I just don't know how an outsider would look in on our sport, it's a complete laughing stock, and the worst thing we can do is develop it further than the M62. Because the more people that are aware of it, the more people know how utterly farcical it is.
Constant eague restructures which leaves pros playing amateurs
5 pointless years of licencing
play off systems where you can pick who you play
face-fitting favouritism
constant rebranding of clubs
financially inviable clubs who get different treatment based on their badge colours
....need I go on? We all get it...
I don't know of a more blatantly corrupt sport - which I would prefer if they just admitted it.
I leave this quote:
"I have more respect for a man that lets me know where he stands even if he is wrong, than a man who appears to be an angel and is nothing but a devil"

| All this woud be sorted quite easily if they made the followng statement:
Guidelines 1
(applicable to club A,B,C,D,E,F,G etc)
and
Rules 1
(applicable to club H,I,J,K,L,M,N etc)
....at least then:
-each club knows where they stand.
-fans know what rules their clubs have to abide by
-the RFL get their credibility back
-anyone involved who dislikes it can walk away, and the game can (try) move forward from base camp
The most sickening thing is yet to come guys - statements from the Bulls and RFL along the lines of
"well, we reviewed this, so this arrangement was put in place, then we could do this, and get around that, and it's a great step forward, cause now we can do this etc etc"

| Expect the use of "iconic", "in the interests of the game", "best way forward", followed by more utter drivel to justify the unjustifiable.
How can one club be told that if they go into admin they are relegated and yet a different club, not only goes into admin but wants no punishment for doing so.
Isn't RL brilliant, "the greatest sham of all"

| I don't think corrupt is the right word. That implies some agenda for financial gain.
I just don't think they are very good administrators and stumble through all this.

| Is it ethical or even legal to strip the assets of a company prior to going into administration, to the detriment of creditors?
If there's any whiff of jiggery pokery about this, I'd expect HMRC to be less than gruntled.
