I'd have Gower in a shot if the price is right, he could certainly move us around the park. We can't afford to go down the local lad route if we want SL rugby in 2015.

Don't know the finances but Uptoncat says he played his last contract for 40,000 (or some relatively low fee)Aus dollars.

He didn't join them until the middle of June and only signed until the end of the season.

There is currently 26 under 23 lads out of contract who played super league last year at top 6 six clubs!! If we sign 2-3 of those we should consider that good business!
That coupled with 3 overseas and the existing squad top 9 doesn't look a unrealistic target! Agree

We need to think positive - act positive - support the club in any way possible!

Why, he played half a game and just about did ok, even in our state you don't re-sign players who offer as little as he did in a season.

I was ok with Goulding and would like him to have a shot but it's a big role.
I'd prefer an old head like Richard Horne or Lee Briars (obviously not possible now)

Just think there is better than him kicking about - in fact IMHO Kay was a better SH.

As even if we sign someone else for the number 7 shirt we still need cover and he would be cheap and eager. He also showed some potential in the 3 games he played.
