As for people coming in to help if you mean invest that will start to happen when they can see that we are solvent and well managed. Sadly to get there we are having to go through the rough stuff and nobody likes or wants that.
I wouldn't want to be doing the job MC is doing presently and I'm sure he could find less stressful things to do with his time.
I know (or at least expect) that there is likely to be more pain to come, the income or lack of it dictates that but at some point we will hit bedrock and be able to start to look forward and with NM still very much on the horizon we will be of interest to someone I'm sure.'"
Totally agree, long term we will be in a better position and with NM on the horizon the future could be very bright

I did suggest that once he made the first announcement back in August it signalled the end of significant ST sales. You are to a great extent talking to the converted who would support any team regardless of their standard providing they wore the red, white and blue. The converted are however not the people you need to convince as I have stated many times. We now learn that despite offers of help no one at the club could be bothered to make contact, not good public relations.
I would ask remove the rose tinted goggles and ask yourselves how does it look to the majority of Wakefield supporters and the RL in general. I guess we are adopting the George Osbourne theory of plan A at all costs regardless of the negative impact on the club as a whole. Plan A appears to involve keep selling players but for every player that goes it will effect the support and reduce the number of ST sold.
I also note we are back on the investors are there but this time it's not to do with the people running the club but the fact that we need to be seen to be solvent. I guess this suits your argument however, most investors want to be associated with a successful club not one struggling in front of smaller crowds. I suppose like the mythical four waiting for Elston to leave before they would invest it will be interesting to see if this comes to fruition.
The current board have been in situ three months and have only been successful in selling quite a few of the first team squad and sign one former Leeds academy player. You appear to have some inside knowledge or indicate you do, so give us some positives, when are we going to make a signing how much of the original debt is still outstanding.

| I believe that the current board are out of their depth and appear to be just circling the wagons in a hope that it all turns out well. I have not seen or read anything that would suggest they have a plan. I have read that they don't reply to people offering their services, have problems with the phone and e-mail systems but once again not letting people know and have no strategy to push season ticket sales. We are selling players which only demoralises a club like Wakefield and with no plan on obtaining replacements. I think that currently we will be uncompetitive performing in front of smaller and more dissatisfied supporters.
On the other side some of you believe they have things under control, we can stand to lose more of the first team squad and will still survive and prosper in Super League. Investors will join the club once everything is financially sorted.
You will be surprised to know I hope you are right but only time will tell.
Just for clarification I don't fish but I do think for myself. I also have a season ticket for WT and have done so for many years. I was there when the club was changed from a members to limited (I abstained), I was there when we voted on the merger (I voted against) and many others so I think I am entitled to give my view because I have seen both the good and the bad of running the club. How many of you have supported the club for over 40years.
A prime example of pointless statements are those of B Briggs Ghost whose only argument is to say if you question the board they should like in a school yard take their ball and go home and we should just be happy to continue to pay our money.

| Come on Agent XIII - If you have a better plan now is the time to let people in on it.
I don't think anyone is overly happy with the current situation and having to sell players but you fail to come up with an alternative (unless it is to stop selling players and just not pay any debts/wages and then go into the black hole of Admin again???)

| As far as I can see we are a club with little money. We have been this way for a long time.
We got used to fighting at the bottom and those that came enjoyed the battle.
What the Glover era did was effectively buy us a better life on credit. We all enjoyed it and lots of others came to enjoy it too but it turns out it was fleeting because credit eventually needs paying back.
We are no worse off than we were before in rugby terms because it was all temporary anyway. I'm disappointed because I was starting to believe we were on the up. That makes the crash down worse but that's life.
We are not selling the crown jewels. We are having to give up the assets we bought on credit. In real terms it's horrible when you have to give up your 50 inch tv but it's better than having to give up the house.
We will have to make do with a portable for a while.

| I just think the fans have been led up the garden path. The last admin , it would seem told a pack of lies. We the fans thought everything was on the up, improvements to the ground, good ST sales, good gates, shops on the high street and a reasonable side on the pitch.
Now I don't know if the players contracts were over the top, and will prob never know. What I would say is if we were paying well over the top and now have to sell players to keep on track, then so be it. The sale of players does not send out a positive message, and will probably result in a downturn in season ticket sales. In general i feel a bit confused, people seem to agree the season tickets are to cheap, but urge fans to go and get one.
I only saw 4 home games last season and paid £22 to attend, I have always had a season ticket up to the last 3 years.
We all have ideas on what could be done to generate funds, and feel sure that most would dig deep to help out. However, the feed back seems to have dried up. To keep momentum going you need to provide information.

Where do i indicate anything of the sort?
Where is your plan B? Where was the there even a fork in the road for this board to choose another path?
I keep asking - you keep coming back with nothing.
Bagging the people taking hard decisions i think is unfair and shows you to be nothing short of bitter or deluded.
I'll ask again what would you have done different and how would you manage to reduce the debt and stabilise the club with no money??
Put up or shut up!

I cannot see how you can go to such lengths to turn out such posts but cannot explain what you would have done differently...oh hang on thats because you don't have a scooby doo!!!
The only thing you can manage to cobble together is one or two complaints from posters and pass that off as a valid synopsis and reason to cast your scorn.
Communication at the club has always been bad - why no complaints in the past taking into account your anger now and such long serving support? Why pick now when if anything the amount of staff on the books has lessened and many of them (because of previous bad management (WHEN STRANGELY YOU WERE SO SILENT)) have had to take a big pay cut.
Why the anger now, why not then, why is Agent XIII so new to us when we have had years upon years of bad management and mis-fortune, why do you only appear when someone is attempting to turn a silk purse into a sows ear?
Its not hard for people to put 2 and 2 togeather is it?

| AGENT XIII
I logged on at about 12.30 last night and there was another rabid post from Agent XIII.
Has this been removed, if so, congratulations to the moderator responsible?
p.s. it was just another ridiculous and pointless rant.

I am just trying to match your pointless statements. By the way I have supported the club for over 50 years so have a bit of respect for your elders.
