From what I can recall he turned down a few NRL gigs to come here so it must've been worth his while, although Carter suggested that no one at the club was on £100k+ in response to assertions over Mellars salary. |

Pretty sure when Poore came over he said he didn't come over here for the money. He was getting a lot of hassle from the media over there.

We may not have anyone with a salary over 100k as he stated but by adding in expenses, accommodation, car and free return flights home then it can work out quite a lucrative deal.

Apparently Rangi the Briton whilst at Cas was on a 'salary' and was on an additional 'bonus' of £2K per match , which in pure definition terms was not classed as his salary. That reminds me, Salford, salary cap, join the dots. |

Yep and its these tactics and Koucash's vocal oppostion to the salary cap that worries me regarding their attempts to snare Kirmond. |

Mabe they are no on 10k cas but when you take into account houses and cas you must be looking at it costing the club at least 100k. |
